Re: BFTG (H) Brizzle

Wasn't there, but reading these comments it seems like the same old same old from last season. Ponderous build up and no cutting edge? A passing/possession game is only any good if played at pace, otherwise it is just tedious and gives the oppo too much time to get themselves back into shape and th...

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

What do these shirts fit like? i.e. do you normally wear a large, but need to get an XL for it not look obscene?

Asking for a friend. :?

Just another Reading shambles then. Can't wait for this season to be over.

Looks promising, but £5 per game? Seems a little steep.

Re: RUMOUR - Andy Yiadom

I rate Wagner as a manager very highly, but barely any of the signings they have made have any prem experience at all. Mooy is a good player, but again no Prem experience. The strikers they have signed likewise, may be good but haven't played in that league. Tom Ince is a complete head scratch - no...

Re: Do you have another team?

I find it a bit of an "eye rolling" thing to say that "I don't have a connection with the club" when you don't even go. I had a season out and like you I just felt a disconnect. I didn't know the players, barely knew the squad, I wouldn't have recognised them in the street, etc....

Re: Do you have another team?

No second team as such, but I echo the feelings about football. I don't feel the same connection to the club anymore, didn't renew my season ticket of the last 20 or so years and only went to one match this season. I think my apathy also coincided with a few seasons of dreadful football and results ...

Reading FC Fans. Caring more about what other people think than the results on the pitch since 1871.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Huddersfield Town v Reading, Play Off Final, 29 May 2017 (Wembley)

Anyone up for breaking into the stadium and rearranging the bags to spell Tinpot ? That'll be a challenge, have you ever tried rearranging the letters in ROYALS to read TINPOT? Wish Reading were still known as the Biscuitmen though, much more impressive and could "bend" round the corners ...

Just watching the build up on Sky and there are a lot of empty seats still. I hope most people realise this is a 7.45 ko...fecking Sky.

Re: BFTG Fulham

It's beautifully set up for Tuesday night now. No team have the advantage. Fulham are rightly considered the favourites. The Fulham Football Club is an outstanding club and are expected to win otherwise they will have badly let down the residents of West London. Considering they are one of the big ...

I like Dave Kitson. I particularly like the fact that he has an opinion and isn't afraid to use it. Doesn't come out with all the usual cliches and will just speak his mind. Wish more people were like that rather than just spouting out the same old bollocks.

When were they given the opportunity to prove themselves? The idea that stands across England are going to erupt in an orgy of violence if the serve beer throughout the game is massively outdated. A hangover from our long gone hooligan days of the 1970s and 80s. Unfortunately it's difficult to see ...

Re: If RFC don't make the play-offs....

I like the idea of going the full retard, but to be honest, I haven't given much of a toss all season and I don't suppose that'll change any time soon. We need to become a more complete side, we're too one dimensional with no plan b. And not to mention oxf*rd dull to watch.
