Re: How many current football league grounds have you visited?

68 at last count but I was including clubs that have moved to new grounds, like Doncaster. Went to the old Belle Vue but not the Keepmoat.

20 quid to stand on a terrace. 23 quid for a seat at the Mad Stad. Makes us look good value.

Re: Are Reading Fans the biggest prats in the league?

We are up there, but I wouldn't single us out. I would say just look at div 2 Swine Pox and Aldershite. They were our rivals when SJM took over the club. Mid table championship playing Leeds, West Ham, Soton, Pompey or trips to Accrington, Crawley and Burton.
I will let you decide.

Mcoist is not up to the job. It says something when Kenny Miller would rather go to Cardiff than Ibrox.

BM will not have any of the Long money. Although he may have some of the Kebe money. Acording to my reliable source at the club.

Re: Posh don't rate us

sheshnu Pretty sure most clubs in the division aren't banking on massive crowds when Reading come to town. Can't say I'm fussed either way.

Even mid week I reckon we would take more there than Blackpool and Boro.

Posh don't rate us

Just stumbled across this when comparing ticket prices in the championship. Peterborough rate Crystal Palace a side that just avoided the drop as a more atractive fixture than the side who reached last seasons play off final?

Re: Do you think Long will stay?

A club that runs within budget can't buy anyone. A club over a 100 million in the the red. Buying players for 8 million? I'm confused.. :o

They say you should never go back in Football... Heart says - this is going to beautiful and emotional. You can tell that those players of the 2005/06 season know that they've never had it better than in the era. I was lucky enough to do some work with Graeme Murty the other week and he said that w...

Re: Dispatches - How to buy a football club

I felt a bit sad for Fergie tonight tbh; his name has been dragged theough the mud simply because of having an association with someone dodgy. There is no evidence that he has done a thing wrong - ffs, we all know managers call in favours all the time, and as he has been around the longest, he has ...

Ferris Kes, can you do a mock-up of the new away kit?

Roy Keane's Autobiography is the best I have read. And I picked up Tony Cascerino's from the Oxfam shop last week and read it in two days it was that good.
