Re: BFTG - QPR (A)

I had assumed that the pre-season itinerary was affected by the need to get the new pitch bedded in. The pitch replacement would have been months/years in planning. This is not an excuse. I would say that a stadium without a pitch is a pretty good excuse. While it may have been planned for months b...

Re: RUMOUR - Nelson Oliveira

This probably isn't the right place for this discussion but you're being equally hysterical and daft with that response as you have completely missed the point. The fans who suffered that performance are annoyed because it was the clear that the team was completely unprepared. Stam cocked up the pre...

Re: BFTG - QPR (A)

Tbh that was a perfect follow on from the playoff final, and summed up a pre season which has been notable only for its total lack of coherency and urgency. At Wembley, we sat back for 120 minutes and created, at best, a couple of half chances. Today was the same, only without the half chances. We ...

Re: New Royal Rewards Loyalty Scheme

I don't get the benefit of prepay cards, if you can use the card to pay for things via proximity you have the bizarre situation of topping up a prepay card with another proximity card, so why not just pay with your existing proximity card. I'm sure the club would love 10k people to put £10 on their ...

Re: QPR (A) - Predictions

We lose 2-0, after a dull start we fanny around too much at the back and gift a goal to QPR, we then chase the game - fail to score and get suckered late on with a second.

Maybe the moron who posts a question can look at the other threads before posting in the wrong forum, and maybe read the responses the moron has received pointing him to the relevant thread.

Re: New Royal Rewards Loyalty Scheme

I personally like the idea. But a question, if anyone could help? My member number as per actual account / my card number (physically on card) and card number on the rewards site are all 3 different numbers and none of which correspond to each other... but as previously mentioned it states that the...

Re: Transfer fees out of control

Can't remember where but a few years ago, I remember seeing a chart on here that suggested higher wage expenditure was (statistically, at least) a more reliable way to guarantee success in the Championship, rather than transfer fees. I know we spent a fair whack on wages in the 2011/12 season. And ...

Re: Depth Chart

Thank you, that is sufficiently comprehensive, I would agree with your ordering apart from one glaring error where you have placed Clement above Popa in the wide midfield depth chart (hopefully a careless oversight rather than an unforgivably intentional misjudgement of player ability) What a twat ...

Re: 2017/18 Championship Fixtures

Has anyone seen a fixture list you can load into Outlook? The club used to have it but now they have some Ical sync thing that doesn't work. It's been syncing for 10mins.

I don't want to sync, I just want a fixture list in outlook format

I'd like to add that Danny from Huddersfield should seek medical attention for his heart rate, I'm not sure it dropped below 140.

BFTG - Wembley

It was gutting to lose on penalties after going ahead, football is such a cruel game of highs and lows and you experience it all within a few minutes. We didn't play well, first half JvdB was a liability and rightly subbed, Blackett was poor but played better when Obita came on, but overall we reall...

Re: Play Off Final Tickets

Haven't Reading taken between 35-40k for all other Wembley/Millennium Stadium visits? Wouldn't see this one being any different Could see it being a little less this time - 3rd visit there in 6 years and were only there 2 years ago, plus the cost and our record there , could see a few decide agains...

Re: An analysis of promoted teams in the play-off era

Reading and Huddersfield are both in for a whole lot of pain, whoever goes up. Neither side have a strong Goal Difference which suggests that they will struggle to pick up many points next year. History does not favour teams from the playoffs either, and with Reading holding the worst defence in th...

Re: Play Off Final Tickets

Being quiet at work and wanting to know how many we've sold I logged on to the online chat. 'Only' about 31,000 sold. I know Morgan Evan, he is a Leeds fan and is winding you up. By Friday evening we shifted over 28000 tickets. Do you really think we have only then shifted another 3000 Saturday, Su...
