Re: Bikey

Exactly. He could have had a broken ankle or whatever. Then these ghanaian officials push away the physios so they can't do their job. I fully understand why Bikey blew a fuse. They had it coming. Having watched the video clip the official clearly pushed the physio just as Bikey approaches the mele...

Re: Bikey

Although I've not seen this incident and do not condone violence in any way, could it not possibly have been the case that Bikey was concerned that just picking Song up and moving him onto the trolley doodah might have been a good idea dependent on Song's injury? How can I put this? There were at l...

Andre Bikey - what a w*nker, what a w*nker!

Looks like he needs a sports psychiatrist not a sports psychologist!

Re: Bikey

Can you actually be sent off for that? Technically... Violent conduct doesn't have to be directed just at opponents. Quite right - if in doubt ask a certain wrist breaker called Gerard Lavin! As for Bikey - this is the clown that is meant to return and save us from relegation?!! Steve Cop...

Programmes £6!!!! My son said that the stadium was way more than half empty with 5 minutes to go. Tip to get away quicker. Catch a Chiltern Line Train from Wembley Stadium to Denham or Gerards Cross. We did! (well, High Wycombe) Perhaps you had seats on the opposite side of the stadium to Wembley S...

Re: JM is confident we'll stay up

ALOL at the bit where he urges the fans to create a seige mentality. Having been starved of much needed additional supplies, I believe the siege mentality has already been created - only it is RFC that is besieged! As for the players courage etc: 'Forward, the Light Brigade!' Was there a man dismay...

Re: Darkness!!

I'm actually getting rather fed up with all these people who keep saying that because some of us believe relegation is a very real issue, that we're not "behind the boys". Whatever some of us may say on here, when it comes to being at the games I and many others on here that I happen to k...

Re: The Over-reaction Thread

I would like a list of all the 'I told you so's' on this thread. That they exist in any significant number at all is a fallacy. I said myself about four posts above that there are about six heavy-duty OTT activists, including yourself, AP, Floyd, Royal Blue and WSF. Now do what cmonurz said and lis...

Re: Coppell's latest backtrack

Name one such way that will get your name known in virtually every household around the world that has an interest in football? Oh dear, oh dear. Who said that fame is restricted to those households with an interest in football? I certainly didn't. Take That are quite famous in households with no i...

Re: The Over-reaction Thread

I don't think there are many LOLs to be had about Reading's league season, whether we stay up or not. Slightly pathetic that the 'RTGs', for the sake of badging them, quite deliberately choose to dress up the opinion of the 'STGs' as any more than passion for this club. Again, you might be right ol...

Re: Coppell's latest backtrack

My recollection is that every year (except the last reported one) since he took over the club has made a loss and he has underwritten it? The important things is, regardless of his motives (and I for one can't see anything wrong with his in this instance), he took over a grubby little football club...

Well said Rawlie. As it happens I am going to the game on Saturday....first and only away game I will go to this season. So what.. I am passionate about the club and always know the score, who is in the side and care very much about how we are doing...perhaps too much as there are more important th...

Consider a request made. It was me who said he was shy during Saturday's programme. I think that's fair. Compare Mr Madejski's reluctance for media exposure to, say, Tom Hicks, Dave Whelan, Daniel Levy. Anyhoo, I'll let you know if the Chairman says yay or nay. Thanks for your response, although we...

Re: Coppell's latest backtrack

How much has JM "lost" then? How many games did he see when he was in Malaysia for a year for reasons of tax avoidance? It's cost him around £50 million by popular estimates. For the first 16 years there wasn't any prospect of him getting a penny back. No, he didn't see games when he was ...

Re: Villa Match moved

Having said that I do think the club are rather willingly prostituting themselves to the likes of Sky because in their words 'It is ultimately good for the club'. They might find themselves rethinking the wisdom and ultimate good of letting Sky p*ss off their fans if Sky lose interest in the club e...
