Re: Building for next season

Let's get Jack Rodwell while we are at it. He would made Aluko look a bargain!! When you think how shit we were why would we want anyone from Sunderland? Let’s not be silly, honeyman scores 8/9 from midfield this season at Sunderland and can play wing or central attacking mid. McNair plays defensiv...

Re: Building for next season

Some midfielders with bite needed which can complement and nuture Swift and Kelly. I think Clayton would be a good buy. A really good bit of business would be Joe Allen from Stoke. I just think he could bring out the best in Edwards and the others. Although we would probably end up with Charlie Ada...

Re: Summer Transfers

we also need to trim the squad as well. Would happily lose 10 and bring in 2 or 3 quality signings plus a few u23s 100% agree with you but who realistically is going to take Dangerous Dave Edwards off our hands and those of his ilk? Really worries me we are going to be stuck with the likes of Yann ...

With this though would you agree that coppell was the best manager to manage in the championship. Majorly overachieved with limited funds and resources??

Re: Where does the blame lie ; not the Owners ?

Anybody fancy Murty as a coach, may get that winning mentality back. Not really. I’m not convinced he is cut out to be a manager. Let’s give Clement a chance. No as a coach Steven Reid style level, that’s what he was before he got thrown in at the deep end at rangers. I was meaning as part of Cleme...

Re: Where does the blame lie ; not the Owners ?

I do have to say gourlay seems the route of all evil. Last season when tev and Stam were working together we bought players with a point to prove with no budget and we acheived. This season (gourlay era) overpriced egos who believe they are gifted a place on the team sheet and a large pay packet. I ...

Re: Relegation Watch

I think if Forest beat Barnsley and burton beat Bolton I would feel a lot happier. But I would love for the first time this season to put oufuture in our own hands and beat Ipswich or draw would do.

Re: Nicky Hammond Leaves WBA

To be honest plan b definitely didn’t work so maybe reverting back to plan a with a different manager at the top could work. He does seem like a bit of a coppel 2.0 mr clement
