Yeah, and it’s still not finished.

Similar story though. Started building, ran out of money and the site was derelict for a couple of years.

Re: Footballers whose career has nosedived

I thought it was Alex Pearce who was linked to Liverpool, purely on the basis of a holiday selfie he took with a Liverpool scout (who just happened to be ex Reading CB Barry Hunter). Obviously with Rodgers also being Liverpool manager at the time, everyone put 2 and 2 together and got about 9 billi...

Re: Who is going to win the Premier League?

I really, really want Arsenal to hang on for the win, they've been so good at times this season, and it's nice for it not just to be City all the time.

Re: Who is going to get relegated from the Premier League?

A lot of my inlaws are Evertonians, so I'm torn between wanting them to stay up for them and wanting them to come down so we can play them

Leyton Orient very nearly up now from League 2, two points needed assuming Bradford win all their last 5

Re: CONFIMRED - Paul Ince sacked

Presumably this also has minimal effect on our finances too, as "wasted" wages on Ince will only be the two months or so remaining on his contract, and with Noel already on the books there's no additional fees there either.

Also, another thing about yesterday - Ejaria getting booked as a sub warming up for obstructing a quick Preston throw in. Put his coat back on and slumped back into the back corner of the dug out. Don't think Ince looked at him again after that, he certainly didn't go out to warm up as if to come o...

At least with the appointment of Hunt, it'll be someone the fans can get behind and have a positive attitude towards, which in turn will benefit the team

Also a lot of what we did was so slow, be it reacting to a dead ball, or getting the game restarted. There never seemed much urgency to the way we played

Re: MATCHWATCH : Preston North End (a)

First game for me since Birmingham away before Christmas. Apologies if some of this has been covered already, but I've only read back the last 3 pages or so rather than the full thread. Lumley played well for the most part, made some crucial saves to keep the scoreline respectable. Kicking was prett...
