Re: Bristol City (A) Friday 19th April 2019 (12pm)

Hang on a minute Old Man Andrews.
If £32 is nothing, why did you berate me for suggesting that we stop the Twenty’s Plenty initiative as you believe we should be flying the flag for cheaper pricing?

Re: Twenty’s Plenty

Where does stooping down to the other clubs level get you? We should be at the forefront of trying to change the ticket pricing and indeed Ipswich gave up cheap tickets this season in direct response for us doing it for them. Just because other clubs are greedy bastards doesn't mean we need to be. ...

Twenty’s Plenty

Apologies if there is a thread on this already but I couldn’t find it. Having just forked out a disgraceful £66 for two Bristol City tickets on Good Friday, it occurred to me that seeing as no other f....ers wish to join in with our highly commendable approach, isn’t it time we kicked it into touch?...

Re: BFTG Leeds Home

A group of Leeds supporters near me were asked to leave - someone complained to the stewards. I know there's an instinctive reaction against grassing people up, but you could have done that. I did complain to the steward, but he said there was nothing he could do about it, especially in hospitality...

Re: BFTG Leeds Home

You could have sat somewhere else? Anyway - agree about Swift. I watched it on Sky as I was working late and frankly it confirmed exactly my thoughts on Swift. He gets the ball and is in a position to release it quickly, instead he tries to go round players, and then do it again, unfortunately he's...

Re: BFTG Leeds Home

Firstly, raving on about Leeds. I thought Sheffield Utd were a much better and stronger all round ‘team’ than LUFC. Things I don’t get 1) constantly complaining about the size of the squad but there never seems to be anyone to select from. Understand injuries, but you can’t rely on one loanee strike...

To be honest with that run in, there’s a possibility of Bolton catching us too.

Re: BFTG Rotherham

Personally thought they were very similar teams. However I am now convinced of two things. 1. You get to the top of this league by playing at speed, quick passing and pinning the opposition defence back to make your chances. 2. You get results by not allowing the opposition to play and get comfortab...

True, but it does sort of show that the other teams can pull something out of the fire when needed most.

Re: The League of 4

‪Reading now has 4 points out of a possible 15 so far against those in the Gang of Four bottom clubs.‬
‪Whereas Bolton 9, Rotherham 6, Ipswich 5‬

Re: BFTG Sheffield United

1) no intent One of the reasons we always let in early or late goals. Sheffield Utd came out all guns blazing with the ‘we are going to win this match’ mentality. Reading came out with ‘ho hum, another day, another dollar attitude’ (again) and immediately paid the price. 2) build up play Possibly so...

Re: BFTG Derby (A)

First half hour, back to the shit show. No high press again, letting them play how they wanted and therefore take the consequences (why can’t they learn this?) Illori was terrible, if his mind is on Sporting Lisbon, then f... off now. Already said previously today, but Bod is two yards away from eve...

Re: New Manager

Just love the ambition of RFC supporters. It seems that our ideal prospects are 1) managers unsuccessful and struggling in the Prem. 2) managers struggling with teams at the bottom of the championship 3) ex RFC players, irrespective of experience and may be the same as 2) 4) anyone else that’s out o...

Re: Whats wrong with our training???

well I would, but I'm not sure a lot could have been done to avoid that. Though as said elsewhere, the time taken to come back is starting to be worryingly long. Not heard a bean about a comeback being due. Going to be Jan at the earliest now Obita has been at Bracknell Town recently in their chryo...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Birmingham City (a) sponsored by Nigel Adkins last game

It’s not so much technical ability (although we don’t have the best) but more how they decide they’re going to play. Take Kelly. He played decent first half, some nice incisive forward passes and made some effort in tackling, took a chance long range shot (like he used to). Second half he went back ...

If Millwall (#place any team here) want it and attack they’ll have it.
Expecting a 0-2 loss at least on Saturday.
O’Shea injured? Baldock and Bod seem out. Ezra out and all the usuals out.
Looking forward to a Meyer, Kelly, Aluko midfield.
Christ this has got desperate.

Re: CONFIRMED - Yakou Meite

Clunk your seatbelts, we’re in for a long ride. If Clement (whatever your view) does not come good or gets worse and parts company, the next man in will constantly have the excuse of not being able to build his own team due to these long contracts. We won’t be able to afford to pay them off and ther...

Re: BFT - I don’t know what to call it

Soon as I saw that teamsheet with Gunter at RB, Kelly and Aluko, I knew this was a defeat again. Midfield would be overrun and give no support to the defence. 1) Kelly. Playing piggy in the middle. Chasing the ball around like a blue arsed fly, as fast as he can up the field to have it kicked over h...
