Re: FAO Season Ticket Holders - Renew or not?

Well I can tell you where my son and I sit. We are in the family section of the ED stand. It costs £22 for the two of us for a match. My ST was £320 I think and my lads was £99 or £89. I think I paid £409 in total for our ST’s. So if we miss four games during the season we are no better off especia...

Re: FAO Season Ticket Holders - Renew or not?

Will always have to miss two or three games due to other commitments with bundles and reduced tickets which may happen more often there is no difference in price . Where in the stadium do you sit Henley Royal? And how much did you pay for your season ticket? Well I can tell you where my son and I s...

I'm surprised this has made it to page 4, people are reading into this way too much.

Re: RFC too soft

We give all away fans tickets for 20 quid yet very few reciprocate this offer. In addition, we mostly allow away fans to turn up and pay on the day. Yet tomorrow there is no pay on the day and ticket sales ended at noon today. Absolutely madness. We seem to make it so easy for away fans to get chea...

Re: Gourlay

Moving onto Gourlay, I have it on very good authority that he has brought a poisonous atmosphere to the club from within. It’s also become very apparent that he has absolutely no idea how to run the football club, yet wants to have involvement in every aspect, no matter how big or small. Cool. What...

Re: Gourlay

Even taking Gourlay out the equation, getting rid of Howe was the biggest mistake the current owners could have possibly made at that time. To buy the club and make such a drastic change so quickly rocked the boat way too much, with much of the fine work from 16/17 undone with that move. Howe would ...

Hasn't Joey only had one red card since he's been with us?

Re: Who could replace Stam?

Some papers reporting that we're after Mick McCarthy. Not ideal but anyone but Stam. Always done a decent job and is working on a tiny budget at Ipswich. That would be a massive step back for me. He hasn't done anything good In management for about ten years and has never had an exciting team in fo...

Re: FAO Season Ticket Holders - Renew or not?

Even without knowing where you two sit, I know this isn’t correct. Unless they're the kind of season ticket holder that only goes to half the games (e.g., no Tuesday nights etc) But otherwise, yeah, totally not correct. Will always have to miss two or three games due to other commitments with bundl...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Sheffield Wednesday (a) sponsored by total apathy

Just saying, but Wednesday, under their new manager have now gone their last four games undefeated, including two wins and a draw with Cardiff Watching the highlights, we played well going forward but missed very good chances and hit the post. But the defence was genuinely shambolic McCleary looks ...

Re: Who could replace Stam?

You have a point Denver, it’s not the first time my opinion has been challenged on here, and rightly so, because we all see things differently. My opinion usually gets battered on here (which is fair play) but in my mind most of how I’ve interpreted this season and Jaap’s approach so far toward the...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Sheffield Wednesday (a) sponsored by total apathy

Apparently so. But then, it's not like he's got 4 years left on his contract, he's got 18 months - we can't be paying him THAT much? Leeds told him to bugger off when he demanded £3M a season last summer, and lo he signed an new contract with us! So it's going to be something approaching that. Stra...

Re: Who could replace Stam?

Nigel Pearson or Craig Shakespeare would do nicely. At least those two are realistic. Pearson has taken a struggling Leicester, kept them up, and then got them promoted. That is exactly the type of Manager we need. Not another gamble like Stam. Shakespeare arguably inexperienced but made a big impr...

Re: New Training Ground

Doubtful, because Gourlay has literally no idea what he's doing. Yeah, I mean it isn't like he has been employed by 2 of the biggest clubs in Europe or anything? Being employed at two football clubs where you have a huge abundance of wealth does not automatically make you successful at a club where...
