Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

0-0 ht. even game, Reading had the best chance - a House header brilliantly saved by their keeper

Harriott quite lively. Richards ok, certainly looks fit

Pretty good so far. Great distribution, but they are chucking corners etc at him to test him in the air

Re: New Manager

Brentford today 72% possession, 16 shots, ONE on target Yep, they look a total mess. Very good chance of them going down I reckon Small sample I admit, but their first half performance I watched vs WBA was abysmal. As poor as I’ve seen Shows you the value of Dean Smith. Would have been my first cho...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham United (a) sponsored by Dick Habbin

My gut feeling is once Meite, Bod and Baldock are fully fit - if that actually happens of course - we’ll have plenty enough fire power to pull away from the bottom 3 If Swift is back on some semblance of form and We bring in a new CB to pair with Moore or Ilori, I think we’ll be fairly comfortable e...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham United (a) sponsored by Dick Habbin

Last week I was seriously worried after Sheff Utd. First time this year I’ve thought we’d go down To go away in our position, and put in a half decent performance - plenty of shots on goal etc - I feel a lot better Ipswich are likely down. Bolton as well I reckon. I think there will be a worse team ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham United (a) sponsored by Dick Habbin

Far from satisfied OMA but in our position you have to be realistic

They don’t lose many either, esp at home

Seen the highlights - Swift looked very good on them

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham United (a) sponsored by Dick Habbin

Gave away too many corners, which they live off with their size. Gunter needlessly gave away the last one under no pressure...and then slowly walked back with his head down rather than gee'ing everyone up. Drama queen that he is, was hoping he wouldn't decide to 'have a moment'. No surprise when th...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham United (a) sponsored by Dick Habbin

It’s not a bad result and sounds like a decent performance

Obviously very painful not to hold on - win would have been a huge result though

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham United (a) sponsored by Dick Habbin

Think I would have started Osho above McIntyre

Been playing in the national league with some success and prob more used to physical games. Looks a bit bigger and stronger than McIntyre as well

Still be good to see how he gets on

5 Academy lads in the squad

Would hardly say picking Sims ahead of Barrow is a farce exactly

Re: New Manager

Tbf they didn’t seem to upset when he left. My guess is Howe chatted to the players and that had an influence on the decision to sack him However, I thought the players did seem to respond to him at times, and he rarely threw people under the bus in interviews, when he often could have (McShane at B...
