Re: Rumour - Marc McNulty

super darren caskey A shame this as he could be quite decent alongside Nelson

Would much rather keep McNulty and get rid of Baldock

Same hear. At least Baldock's had the chance to show why Brighton let him go.

Re: January Outs

So glad Meyler has gone, and a good window as a whole. The squad is a little thinner now, but we still have some deadwood hanging around, as well as four keepers unless something happens quickly. Depending on our formation i still feel we have one to many strikers, Meite would have been a good loan...

Re: CONFIMRED - New Keeper Emiliano Martinez

CountryRoyal
Old Man Andrews We may be jumping the gun slightly in assuming Martinez will go straight in as first choice. Gomes might just want a stronger number 2 than Sam Walker to put pressure on Jaakkola.

No way. If Gomes wants him here it's to start.

And Arsenal would not have sent him here to warm our bench.

Re: BFTG Forest Home

Zip We looked much more balanced today. There was a better shape to the team. We still overplay but overall it was much better as we pressed Forest and won far more 50/50 challenges than we usually do. Given the talent in this squad we are in a ridiculous position.

Couldn't agree more.

Re: BFTG QPR

Crikey, I've read a great deal of bollocks on Hobnob over the years but I think the assassination of Swift must be right up there. Anyone with half a football brain and who went to 'Wall and QPR can see that Swift (and Rino) was the MotM in each game. Swift is the one player with real quality, visi...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Queens Park Rangers sponsored by the Simod Cup started here

Tbf, there’s a lot of players who played who have only recently returned from injury and / or not played much recently Ilori, O Shea, Richards, Aluko, Meite - barely played in the last month, though Richards has had 3 on the bounce now and seems to be improving To play that well at QPR with that li...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Queens Park Rangers sponsored by the Simod Cup started here

Regardless of result this is very positive - clear impact from the manager’s style of play and not just meaningless possession but a large number of shots. The future is bright under Jose! This is no less a reasonable perspective than we get from our resident wrist slitters eagerly posting their pr...

Re: CONFIMRED José Gomes

What would 'complete loss of face and belly up' constitute to you now? Again, you consistently said (under Clement) that this is a long term re-building project, there's no magic wand, we may have to drop down a division or two...and that you wouldn't have minded if we did. Relegation. While watchi...

Re: New Manager

I retract the word sh*t , but still think the rubbish food and drinks at ripoff prices , rip off parking at the club is poor The parking at the Stadium has been a rip off. However you have other options. I use the Mereoak park and ride and think it’s an excellent service. The price is £5.50 return ...

Re: New Manager

Whoever we sign will be a high stakes gamble given our league position but trashing Gomes in favour of the current managers of Bolton and Wycombe Wanderers amounts to little more than fear of the unknown.

Throwing a Pardew into the hat would be a game changer..............................

Re: New Manager

Really surprised by the calls for Bruce. Reshapes teams by spending tonnes wherever he goes (figures in €s from TransferMarkt) 09/10 - Sunderland - 13th in Prem. Gross spend €46m, net €25m. 10/11 - Sunderland - 10th in Prem. Gross €29m net -€13m (sold Darren Bent for €22m). 11/12 - Sunderland - sac...

Re: New Manager

If we're looking at former players/managers, Pardew would be the only one for me. Many oceans have flowed under the bridge since he did the dirty and flounced off to West Ham. If he's still not working is that because he hasn't had a decent offer or isn't intersted? Would he be interested in coming...

Old Man Andrews As always on matters of huge importance the answer has to be Ian Royal.

Anyone who sees a connection between the size of a whales penis and the length of our current injury list may just have what we're looking for.

Jesus Christ couldn't turn this current crock of shite into a winning team . Shame players can't be sacked Have you watched this team recently? We have some fantastic young individuals and a decent first 11 that can be picked from a fully fit squad. A real "crock of shite" of a team would...

Re: Clement

This is the burning question for me, too. Since Clement has FINALLY given the chances to our youth so many have been clamouring for, for a year or more, I' m firmly in the camp that wants him to be given more time while progress continues, however slowly, and he grapples with a whale's penis sized ...
