Re: New

Everything from there on showed what a slick operation everything is at Reading. Not sure if you all feel the same, but everything was incredibly straight forward, from the bus journey to picking up my member card.. everything. I agree. If you're an away fan arriving by train or just start off drin...

Re: John Docherty

Rudolph Hucker John Docherty is a member at Ogbourne Downs Golf Club near Marlborough in Wiltshire and is an annoying, arrogant know-it-all idiot.
To listen to him, you'd think his managerial career rivalled Shankly, Paisley and Clough....

He's a rubbish golfer too.

But would you say that to his face...?

Re: Weekend Football

Possibly a stay of execution for Dan Micciche at MK Dons with a postponement this weekend. They host Bury this coming Saturday: anything other than a win and you feel that Micciche has to go.

Forbury Lion Are there many complimentary tickets given out for games? - How many graciously accepted this gift and didn't turn up?

I would not even accept a free ticket right now.

Good. Because you're not a supporter.

Re: Best/Worst Pundit

No great loss to punditry tbh, his co-commentary in particular is woeful. I agree with SFers that people really need to stop being pcunts just because they've spotted someone famous but it really didn't take much to provoke Carragher. His reaction is way over the top. I don't care, I'll be the back...

Re: Relegation Watch

This is based on goals, remember. What I will say is Birmingham can't hit a barn door but Sunderland, for how bad they are, seem to score most games. Both will definitely go down though. To my pleasure. Anyone who witnessed Birmingham overzealously celebrating promotion in the South Stand that day w...

(20th) Grimsby v Port Vale (22nd) tomorrow Grimsby's new manager has his first game in charge - does that, coupled with home advantage make them favourites for this huge encounter? Well I think this was always going to be the game of the weekend - nothing between them in the end but plenty of animo...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Leeds United (h) sponsored by empty spaces

Swift and Edwards on for Clement and Evans. Good subs. No, not, really not. Totally killed the impetus from Reading. 2 yellow carded players off for our most creative talent and a player who has at times been a good barrier between attack and defense? I would argue we had far more chances after clo...

Re: Stam to be sacked?

I actually think we should probably stick with Stam now and review at the end of the season. The time for sacking him this season has been and gone, IMO. I just don't think there's anyone really available that has the quality to come in and sort things out with 10 games left, especially when the pl...

Re: We're ManchesteROFL United, we do what we want

Burnley would be a good fit for Shaw. What a great side they are. Burnley again displaying this weekend what an absolute credit they are to the English game. If I could 'choose' the team I supported and was starting again, I'd definitely pick Burnley. Think I might make a Burnley-specific thread.

All the aboves. I would suspect that there are a few on here who are laying-low (maybe just a little bit embarrassed), given their derogatory comments when we first signed him  That would be me. But whilst I'm happy to say he's answered my criticism, it really says something when a very bang a...

Re: How Many Points To Stay Up?

40 points will be enough, we will all but secure safety with a win at Molineux tomorrow night. you'd think if we went 9 points + GD clear with 9 games to go, we'd be have to do something really special to fcuk that up Don't think we will win tomorrow though tbh. Can't see it. Draw at a push. I'm to...

Re: Relegation Watch

I think this weekend was the pivotal one. The three teams that will go down are those occupying the spaces now.

Even if Monk's arrival gets Birmingham out*, it won't be at our expense, it would be Barnsley.

* he won't because he's a massive, massive fraud

If you were manager, which 3 players would you get rid of tomorrow?

Re: Relegation Watch

But my main reason for such predictions is we are showing very little fight, seem to be getting worse, crowds lower and more miserable. I think if we lose to Leeds we will finish bottom I totally disagree. Derby was very good and Bolton whilst not brilliant was 'fine'. Not great, granted but we got...
