Re: The best game you've ever seen?

The Ipswich 1-1 and Forest 1-1 games were special in their own way because in both we thought we had lost at the death and then went up the other end and equalised.

Add Federici's last minute equaliser vs Cardiff to that too.

Re: Ex Players

As some may have guessed, sounds like Adkins didn’t want Drenthe https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.getreading.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/nigel-adkins-managing-reading-fc-19380700.amp Quite liked Adkins, made some good signings here and blooded some youngsters through, not sure it would hav...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

And if you want to discuss hypocrisy, then ask your self how many Reading fans condemn racism but openly target and shout abuse at a red headed player? sing 'where's your caravan' or 'pikey' to a player with long black hair? And how many have sung 'Bobby Zamora the elephant man'? or any of the many...

Re: Next 6 games?

I was encouraged by the QPR game with our defensive side considering the injuries had forced us to play near enough the same team that lost 4 on the bounce and conceded far too many, helps that Moore isn't injured this time of course but bar a Holmes mistake that almost resulted in a QPR goal, I can...

Re: The best game you've ever seen?

Another one for me was the 2-1 win at Derby, forget how long ago it was but it was a bloody miracle the game even went ahead, the away coaches even had to turn around I believe so the away end was quite sparse. I was there because I was studying at Derby Uni at the time, it was made all the sweeter ...

I really enjoyed the Forest 3-4 Reading game must have been about 10 years ago when we were both chasing the play-offs.

Re: Rival Watch

Eh, I think the only impressive team so far is Norwich, especially that they've continued this form despite picking up a similar amount of injuries as us, great depth.

Bournemouth are ridiculously good when they're at their best but a lot can still change.

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

To be honest, we don't tend to do it so I wouldn't expect another forum to either. In a preview maybe but not in a match thread. You tend to just react to what's in front of you. I wouldn't really have much of a clue about who QPR were missing. Their Warburton Out thread in the aftermath of yesterd...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

I mention it more because people were suggesting we resign him in the summer. I think he cost them close to £2m. Generally they thought we were not a top 6 side on that performance but the respective substitutions changed the game, ours for the better, theirs for the worse. Did they gloss over the ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Norwich City (h) sponsored by as tough as it gets

As weird as it sounds I think the best player that is fit and able to hold the ball up bringing others in to play and also hands down actually beating a player in front of him is Ejaria. Probably an awful idea playing him up top but he’s wasted on the wing at times. I do agree with him being great ...

This will obviously not go down well, but HUGELY unimpressed with Olise. He's probably on a very good salary with us. Probably will leave in next year or so and obtain a lucrative deal elsewhere. So DON'T be a miserable git when folks who are FAR more mature than you give you a pat on the back. And...

Baldock is not a good fit for our style of play, he did a lot right, I can't really fault him but he just wasn't the threat up front we needed.

Semedo has not had a good game, not even a bad one, like playing with 10 men. Rafael's kicking has been atrocious.

Royals and Racers
Mid Sussex Royal Luton cup game live on BT sport extra and moved to midday (still Sat)

BT Sport extra 6- anyone know how to watch the extra channels ?

You need a subscription so at the very minimum it's £25 for a month sub.

So that's a no from me.
