Re: Relegation permutations

Which set of results will unfold? Rotherham and Huddersfield lose all their games in hand - The above results is the best we can hope for as these outcomes would mean Reading could survive with just a point at Huddersfield. Because of the GD situation, Rotherham effectively need just a point agains...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wigan Athletic (h)

If Colin manages to keep Huds up,especially in the last game of the season, that will be the worst experience I've had in football. Worse than losing to Swansea at Wembley. Can you just imagine his smug face? To be fair, he has a dismal record against us. Nothing will be worse than losing the Leagu...

Re: Reading FC Womens World

I'll file under "another manager who should have gone sooner" Whether we have been unlucky or not, I don't think this squad is that bad. Every game we look like we set up not to try and lose. Still maintain that as Director of Football, Chambers has done a superb job of squad building…but...

Re: Reading FC Womens World

Leicester beating Liverpool 2-0 in early WSL game, so we are bottom as it stands. IF we end up bottom after today, with Leics still to play Brighton, its going to be very difficult to stay up Leicester’s next two are Arsenal and Chelsea. We have Villa and Spurs. Brighton have Spurs, West Ham and Ar...

Re: Will relegation hurt you?

Loafer Wonder how many fans will go to games if we go down? Club must be concerned with the lack of TV revenue aswell, I think only a small handful of L1 games are on television and we'd probably be 1 of them

On the plus side, we’ll get extra FA Cup games

Re: Will relegation hurt you?

+1 The relegation itself isn’t the problem. The reaction of the owner is. IF Dai pulls the funding, we’re screwed. That is why many of us are very worried. There are more than enough examples of that happening…sometimes it is quick sale and stability (a la Derby) sometimes it is much, much worse…th...

Re: Will relegation hurt you?

Every year three clubs are relegated from the Championship. And every year they continue to operate with almost no exceptions. The way some of you lot behave you'd think the 92 would actually be the 13 by now if relegation is that cataclysmic. +1 The relegation itself isn’t the problem. The ...

Re: Relegation watch 22/23

Sebastian the Red If the team is relegated I may actually come along to a few games for the first time in about 7 or 8 years.

If this team is relegated, there may not be a club to go and watch any more!

Re: Ince out!

He isn’t going before May. No matter how much people hate it, he isn’t. Pauno was given ages. Stam was given ages. I still think we’ll have just enough to survive…by virtue of there being 3 worse teams. Wigan, Blackpool and QPR for me.

Re: Reading FC Womens World

Sat back knowing a point would probably be good enough to stay up. Made to pay for sitting so deep. Exactly that, and the substitutions confirmed that intent. Crazy IMO to take off Harries when her pace and physicality meant that Leicester had to constantly be aware of her when she was on the pitch...
