Re: MATCHWATCH : Birmingham City (h) sponsored by dull cup draws r us

Considering about 6 we’re absolutely nailed in starters it’s not that impressive

Re: Royals on the Box/Internet Thread

Not sure if anyone has brought it up before but sky are showing EVERY midweek championship game on the red button. This means they will be showing the games against Blackburn, Leeds, and Norwich, both home and away. I’m still hurting after 7-1 thanks for the heads up, was not aware of that! I only ...

Re: Liam Moore Hypocrite or Hero?

Clement has been working with him every day for the last 2 months over the transfer period. I suspect he is best placed to decide whether Moore was ready or not mentally and physically, and decided he would rather keep Ilori and McShane together, having played reasonably well as a pair against Derby...

Re: Liam Moore Hypocrite or Hero?

still managed to concede 3 goals to average teams. Obvious statement but we'd have 4 points if we hadn't conceded a goal this season

Re: Rival Watch

I’ve managed to catch 30 mins of leeds over the two games and they’ve looked abysmal in all of it :)

I’m well aware they’ve played very well in the other 150 mins though. Just seem to be cursing them

Somethings bound to go wrong there tbh. They wouldn’t be leeds otherwise

Re: BFTG - Forest away

Not really. Half the sides in the division are very average or worse. We just have to be a bit better than them

Re: MATCHWATCH : Birmingham City (h) sponsored by dull cup draws r us

I’m actually pretty looking forward to it. Would say it’s far more interesting than if we were playing some rubbish from L2 Will give Moore a decent run out and chance to get back into the swing of things. Bacuna a full game hopefully and likewise for McNulty and maybe Popa Wouldn’t be that fussed a...

Re: Summer Transfers

To an extent this whole transfer window seems a little pointless when you can still do loans. Anyone, such as what seems likely with MM, can just go on loan with a clause to sign permanently in January

Re: Liam Moore Hypocrite or Hero?

A +1 with Ian

He’ll be back Tuesday and then available for selection going forward, at which point he’ll be treated like every other player in the squad

Re: BFTG - Forest away

I think that’s my biggest worry tbh- not that we haven’t the players or tactics, more just getting out of this losing rut

Hopefully there is enough experience and know How from the likes of Meyler, Baldock and McShane/Moore to turn things around

Re: BFTG - Forest away

I think the strike force will score goals given time. Baldock is a quality player who will do well once settled imo, and Bod despite his clear limitations is a pain in the arse to play against, and will score 10+ for us McNulty is a bit of an unknown but Im hopeful he’ll acclimatise Meite and the li...

Re: Forest (A) match thread

Sounds like a typical Bod day.

Would definitely like to see McNulty getting a full 90 on Tuesday. He does seem to be the one natural finisher we have on last seasons evidence.

Not sure how Kelly played today but would rather see Bacuna alongside Meyler if we are going to play 442

Re: Forest (A) match thread

Not too worried if we lose this really. Didn’t expect anything but looks like it’s been a fairly even game and we’ve had shots in target etc Be definitely good to reintegrate Moore asap and get some more minutes into the legs of Baldock Season really starts next weekend for me, need to start picking...

Re: Dave Edwards To Gillingham

he's out for about the next 4 weeks with an injury isn't he?

plenty of time to arrange that loan before the end of the month when he is fit again. Depends on who we bring in on loan, if anyone, but if we bring in a midfielder he will prob be moved on
