Re: Is Aluko really that poor?

Wrote on the other thread - he left Fulham as he wanted a long contract - no other reason, which should immediately have raised alarm bells He got his long contract which will take him through to retirement. He has no love for Reading, the fans don’t like him, the other players know he is on a big s...

Re: CONFIRMED - Yakou Meite

He is ok. Great attitude, works hard. He might improve and become a dangerous player, or just not progress and continue to be an L1/L2 striker

Either way, 4 years is ridiculous

Re: CONFIRMED - Yakou Meite

4 years?

Just don’t learn do we?

Would have been fairly happy if he had been given an extra year + a one year option on top on our side. Ie like normal clubs do

There is potential there but not really more at the moment

Re: BFT - I don’t know what to call it

Anyone know why we insist on playing a left footed player on the right wing, and a right footed player on the left wing? I wouldn't mind if they switched every so often................... or were decent on their weaker foot. Barrow is left footed Agree on RW though. But then think it’s a case of ju...

Re: Corners

According to PC (and I think this is true) we hadn’t conceded from a corner under his reign until Brentford We are normally actually pretty decent and defending set pieces. 2 melt downs in the last two matches though Attacking wise, Moore scored one against Sheff Weds, and Baldock against Hull. We’v...

Re: BFT - I don’t know what to call it

Also thought Gunter was a lot better last night. Saw PC really get on at him to get forward a few times. I think being dropped has done him a lot of good Agree on the Swift backup. Did you see Yiadom's attempted left foot cross, where he tripped over his feet and ball trickled out off him after hitt...

Re: Next Reading Manager

Wouldn't be against McCarthy, just to restore a bit of order. Don't think he'd have any qualms about booting out the likes of Aluko immediately. Not sure it'd be great football to watch mind you Do we think Aluko has some sort of Clause in his contract where he has to play a certain amount? I can't...

Regarding Injuries.I wonder how our record compares to other clubs?

probably quite similar. We don't have loads of people out at the moment. Just some of the good ones.

Re: BFT - I don’t know what to call it

Something definitely seemed to go amiss with the tactics. Could see Kelly was pressing (though not very successfully) and Bacuna to a lesser extent, but because Barrow and Esp Aluko weren’t, there was a huge gap in midfield Totally different to Hull where Bod, Baldock, Bacuna and Sims pressed them r...

Re: BFT - I don’t know what to call it

yeah looked worse than I remember - particularly the 3rd one.

Don't think Meite's was a booking still though. Was contact from the look of it and a reasonable amount of it

Ezatoholi's was abysmal
