Re: Liverpool & Arsenal tickets merged from pg5 onwards????

I got my Newcastle tickets in the post, but no Arsenal tickets. They said they'd sold about 2000 for Arsenal so far and were posting the Newcastle ones first. I'm wishing I'd gone down in person now.

Re: Cash free zone.

.... Ergo, getting to front of the queue and finding that you only have £10 on the card is NO dfferent to finding you have only £10 in your wallet. In both cases you have made a mistake and will be unable to pay for your purchases. Yes it is very different, it's easy to see how much cash you have, ...

Re: Cash free zone.

It will be interesting to know what arrangements there are between the caterers and RFC should the system fail in whole or part, or run slowly. The caterers could lose income due to an RFC IT problem. Also the type of people using these machines will be very different to a company system; should Joe...

Re: Liverpool & Arsenal tickets merged from pg5 onwards????

I'm going, and slightly miffed they have the Newcastle tickets on sale on the same day. (I want both). Why don't they spread the load of calls?

Does anyone know what time you can buy away tickets online?

Re: FA Considers Price Cuts to ensure Wembley is full

The thing I hate about most final tickets is the ludicrous pricing policy for families. They have specific sections that you can buy child tickets, that also happen to be the cheapest adult ticket. So when that sells out (first) you need to pay adult prices to take a child elsewhere in the stadium. ...

Re: Dunne Injury?

My view was that it was an odds on ball for Hunt but somehow Dunne got there before him, quickly and firmly, borderline a foul but he got there first. So I was a bit aggrieved initially, but when he went down later it was clear he'd hurt himself in his earlier challenge and I was actually quite plea...

It's a Dodd but this one's got a vote.

My MOTM was between Liam and Bikey, sadly Andre didn't floor anyone so it has to go to Liam.

Re: Liverpool tickets????

I was intending on going to Arsenal last year but it sold out early on the first day. I'd hope this year they'd go for the full allocation particularly if we manage to pick up points at Newcastle and Fulham.

Re: John Mackie - we salute you

I was there for his debut , years ago , can't remember when on a freezing pissing down cold night at Gigg Lane Bury , he had a fantastic game and I thought was destined for a great career , sadly not to be . Always gave his best and you can't ask for any more . I was there too, though I hadn't real...

Re: Back from the game

It was inevitable after all the Keepy Uppy positivity before the game, we continually set ourselves up for a fall when we need to focus the players on doing the basics and working for the team. I can understand wanting to give the players some confidence, but a lot of them actually need a kick up th...

Except for last season where he was totally wrong.

This is a big game for Reading, lets see if they can turn in a top performance, or capitulate.

Re: Villa Prediction thread

Reading 0 Villa 2

I think all this positivity from the chairman, managers and players will inevitably mean a really crap performance, until the last 5 minutes when we decide to play and then miss a penalty and hit the post.

Coppell may decide to quit, but only at the end of the season.

He's in a results based job and if he fails to deliver the results, then we know what he'll do.

Re: How we stack up against the opposition in terms of signings

The one thing that bothered me about that interview was Coppell's attitude of not agreeing to the transfer window, and as a result feeling uncomfortable about getting involved in and dealings during it. I'd much rather he said he didn't agree with it, but as it's a reality he'll use it as best he ca...

Re: How we stack up against the opposition in terms of signings

A bit of a LOL at Sunderland signing Andy Reid for £4m, that must rate Hunt at around £6m.

I'm a bit disappointed Bolton got Raziak in time for tomorrow.
