Re: Pub for the play off away semi?

Walkabout with the big screen is a pretty good idea, normally dead in there at that time as well unless the football is on. Was in Walkabout for the Joshua Klitschko fight - was absolute mad. Mental scenes and great atmosphere. This is true. I went to an old firm game there with Berkshire Rangers w...

Re: False 3rd

I fully expect, as a veteran of many European two-legged ties himself, he will be all about caution, and not conceding many in the away leg of the play-offs. Whether they'll succeed or not, is a different question. And there you go :D Stam on the two legs: "You need to go in with a different m...

Re: Pub for the play off away semi?

Away Tickets sold out - lets all meet at the pub I've missed out on tickets like many. I don't want to sit at home watching by myself really and it would be nice to go to the pub instead. I think we should all try to choose a pub to go to so there's a decent crowd or pub filled and some atmosphere....

Re: Fulham prediction thread

All this talk of "it's a completely different game in the play-offs", "they were 6th for a reason", "the pressure will be on them" etc. just masks the fact that they are a damned good team, probably the best in the Championship in the last half of the season (no stats ...

26-10-06 Has to be straight into Putney - cracking pubs!

Fox & Hounds, Putney - loads of screens, close to the station and cheaper than Spoons.

It's a no-brainer Clive!

Possibly top 5 too. Jose's doing a great job but what's he got that the preceding managers were sacked for lacking? Lol Please please please please please Ajax beat them in the final. Go on. Please. One thinks ajax will beat them. They looked lethal vs Lyon and have a very exiting young team Cheers...

Re: The Non - League thread

Stranded If Reading went bust, most likely to get an AFC Reading set up rather that Reading Phoenix as you don't tend to say the AFC in the team name, so would essentially still be Reading

Would be quite exciting in a way. Could start all over again in a lower Southern League playing games at Palmer Park

Can a stats enthusiast on here either provide or point me in the direction of a line graph of both Fulham and Reading's progress over the course of this season please? I think they started off badly and picked up as the season progressed Scroll to the bottom on each page Reading http://www.footiped...

Re: The Non - League thread

Nice one John Smith. It's good to have both. You can experience football the way it used to be when we were at Elm Park with raucous supporters on the terraces and proper burgers and pies out the burger van while your centre back hoofs the ball downfield looking for the knock downs. It might be sh*...

I'd take him in a heartbeat. He's scored some crucial goals to keep them up and looks like he's over his injury. Probably looking at double figures though in this crazy day and age

Re: Play off Away Leg

Hi, can someone clarify what's going on at Hillsborough at the Leppings Lane end. Would the lower tier be available potentially, should we play them? The clubs all have an agreement to offer no more than 2k to away fans and the upper tier holds 4k+ as far as I know. The lower has 2,400 ish so we mi...

I like the look of Exeter in League 2.

I'd love Fleetwood to it in League 1 but after last night's displays you;d probably have to side with Bradford.

Wouldn't say FGR are home and dry by any means as I think that one was very close, but Tranmere would be your favourites in the National Prem.

Re: AS Pisa

This is an interesting one. Pisa are bottom of the Serie B table having conceded the fewest goals in the entire league with 29. They have only had 4 points deducted from them and 10 of their 20 draws this season have been 0-0. Has to be one of the best GA's to ever get relegated right? I'd have to ...

Re: Players you'd like us to sign thread

Looks like a bit of an exodus at Norwich this summer, likely based on wages. If that's the case then maybe a raid on a few stars if we go up? Jerome, Ruddy and Howson, perhaps? Is Ruddy really an upgrade on alHabsi? We've got some decent goalkeeping prospects coming through too. What about Steven N...
