Re: Rival Watch

Surely, it can't be another new manager appointed a few days before we play them next month? How many would that make it this season four, five? Think it could be 6 if they take a month or so to get the right man - it’s been Stoke, Sunderland, Huddersfield, Luton, Hull so far. Blackpool as well, Cr...

Re: Squad Watch 2022/23

I think that I have read somewhere that it is the number of STARTS, that makes the criteria, presumably only those made before the start of the season, otherwise if a youngster starts a few times during a season, it could put us over the 25 limit.

Re: Rival Watch

Bah, bitesize goals and keep ticking them off. Keep the magic number ticking. Happy to keep looking behind us and seeing relegation further and further away, and more and more teams behind us. The countdown to safety is fun and a success. Aiming for the POs is just depressing and doomed to failure....

Re: Rival Watch

Coventry has been "fined" a five point deduction (suspended until the end of next season) for the unplayable pitch at the beginning of this season. They also have to pay compensation to the three clubs involved, as well as the cost of the EFL's investigation. Seems like Coventry City are h...

Re: PSA - COV game moved to 2pm

I'd rather they sorted the traffic and public transport options (two sides of the same coin), it really shouldn't take 3 hours to get home after a game - and I speak as someone keen for refreshment following the final whistle. Getting out of the car park and then driving home to the Coventry area c...

By thy Snowy, did Goal Line technology rule out Long's/Ince's goal?

Que?

Your prediction in the sequence part says:-
(75) Reading 0 --1 Coventry Long (alt Ince)
Don't worry though, we all make mistakes. At least I can blame age when I make them, what's your excuse?

Re: The place to keep track of RFC players at the World Cup

Heard a very loose rumour that if England win tonight, apparently championship clubs have the option to move sat 10th games to 12:30 to allow fans to get to watch the England game at 19:00 Not a rumour. The EFL said some time ago that the games on that day can be moved providing both clubs agree. I...

Re: The magic of the FA Cup

karbota Parky has worked wonders at Wrexham top of the league and in the FA 3rd round draw. Fingers crossed it's Wrexham at home, be great to see Parky where he belongs.

But. it will be the only time he manages a team at the SCL though.
