Re: CheLOLsea

That's just after Willian had played the ball - so a split second earlier he was onside. You can see the ball has been passed already. It's close enough that I don't think you can be too annoyed at the officials. In real-time you would have to be a cyborg to be 100% confident whether it's on or off.

Re: CheLOLsea

Two tough Premier League games for Chelsea coming up - Liverpool who also need a result and Stoke away who always have a result in them at home to big sides.

55% passing accuracy for Rooney today, no shots on target, no chances created, lost the ball five more times than any other player.

Re: Do you rate Lucas Piazon?

Some of the flak is little extreme, but it's a tough one. He's not the kind of player you want on the pitch in the Championship when you're trying to defend a 2-0 lead - bit of a luxury. But worth having around if he gets you goals and assists. There must be a way to fit him in.

Re: BFTG - Fulham

Right. People have every right to be angry about throwing away a 2-0 lead in six minutes.

The reaction in the next game is most important for me. Beating the league leaders would be the perfect tonic.

It's the manner of the defeat that irks many Maguire, not the defeat itself.

Re: BFTG - Fulham

Would encourage anyone who says the Madejski is a quiet atmosphere to go to Craven Cottage to see what real silence from home fans is like. I was in with the home fans on the opposite side of the ground (Hammersmith End) and the Royals fans came across louder than the group singing at the back of t...

By the way. I reckon the players will be livid about this, and will be chomping at the bit to get back out there. Reading to smash Brighton 5-0.

Re: BFTG - Fulham

Just about calmed down, now. But still unacceptable. I can't really add anything more other than I think it may stand the squad in good stead to have experienced it, and Craven Cottage is lovely. I was in the home end, btw. Royals fans looked and sounded fantastic until the equaliser, after that und...

Well the entire second half was a shambles but in particular those 10 minutes were inexcusable.

Livid. Not been this angry after a match for a long while. The worst ten minutes I've seen from a Reading team in recent memory.
