Irish only rent the stadium for an initial 12 days of the year...more for cup games. And I believe the revenue from the first 4500 tickets covers the rent/stewarding/facilities for each game.
So, this new big screen that supposedly will improve the laughable match day experience.. will we lose more seats to accomodate it? I assume so. *Stadium Reduction Our screen is totally and utterly useless in the way it's being utilised. Apart from showing half time scores, advertising, the line up...
I seem to remember there being a lot of us at Villa in the league cup. We has the lower tier behind the goal and half of the lower tier along the length of the pitch.
Schmichael and Ginola lined up for VIlla... Think we lost 1-0
Might be cheesy but at least its a song far better than "we are going up" after only 10 games. If it generates noise in the stadium great better than the Morgue of a stadium at the moment. We have to be the quietest home crowd in the division. Fcuk off newbie!!! ;-) I don't think this son...
Last season we had a good keeper and a shocking defence. This season we have a solid defence and a pretty standard keeper that is young an developing.... I know which situation I prefer!
It is also worth pointing out that we have been spoilt for keepers for years! Welcome back to reality really.
...and lets not forget why we got Jamie Cureton on the cheap! If I remember correctly, slept with the Bristol Rovers chairmans young daughter i believe...
Anyone else think Matt Briggs would be a decent signing at LB. Released by Millwall due to them having to cut the wage bill, but looks like a decent player
Whilst watching this clip, i was praying that Bain would come in, kill a nuclear physicist and turn the entire place into a crater. I never want this to catch on!
Agree with kelly, Guthrie and Taylor. Can't see us getting rid of any of the others without bringing in a player first. And I rate Norwood so would like to see him stay anyway. Also think akpan could still come good
Not for me, but don't see the issue. It gives fans a chance to celebrate a great achievement by the club. I don't think we will be in an FA cup semi for a while after this and the shirt won't exactly be remembered as one we achieved in otherwise...
I did laugh when we played Pompey a couple of years ago and we were winning just before half time and people were leaving the ground, to which the away fans sang, "we can see you sneaking out!".... To which we responded, "We've got money for some chips!" ....Made me laugh anyway!
Could this be the 'Jason Roberts' type signing that some fans have been hoping for? Providing we aren't paying over the odds in wages, I can't see the harm in giving him a go until the end of the season.
Went to watch Charlton V Wednesday. I would say he's looking a bit bigger than when he was playing here.. Royson was unplayable for the first 35 minutes, constantly picking the ball beating four players and offering some quality. This would lead to a shot or decent cross. He managed to track back o...
