Re: season tickets renewals

9/10 WCH. But Oxford??? You are surely having a tin bath. There is absolutely no way I would pay to watch that lot. Same goes for that inbred bunch of sheep shaggers down the M4. For me it is a choice between Maidenhead Utd, Windsor & Eton or Bracknell Town. Woking may just come into the reckon...

Re: Back From The Game - Middlesbrough (H)

Can anyone recall a worse performance this century than what we saw today? Pathetic and abysmal, almost entirely devoid of quality and the tactics were absolutely barking; you know you are in trouble when Gunnarsson is your f*cking play-maker. Rodgers has probably already lost the crowd, the sarcas...

Re: Loanwatch 09-10

winchester_royal Tabb isn't getting near the team ATM, and nor should he. Karacan and Gunnar are far better options.

You still saying that after that display - Gunnar was shocking.

Alivey I hope Middlesborough fans are less racist than our own and he excels and breaks into the England squad

Doubt it - apart from that goal he didn't look that hot.

Re: Back From The Game - Middlesbrough (H)

Hunt, Ingimarsson and Karacan were OK. The rest were a shower of shite. I'm a perennail RTG, but that was naive, gutless, woeful, inept and embarassing. Agree - was a BR faithful till today; that was shocking. Just can't understand where Rasiak was; and I just can't believe that Marek would be wors...

Re: Back From The Game - Middlesbrough (H)

Has anyone else noticed or is it just me that Federici never ever comes off his line when there's a cross or corner. Just before their first goal, I was going 'Oh dear, Federici is going to stay on his line and they'll score an easy goal'. He's just got to learn to come out and claim them. Otherwise...

Re: Sol Campbell

Deathy ^ 40k a week wages limits his options still. He wouldn't have come to a Championship club anyway.

I think they were happy to get rid ... if he got injured, they could have ended up with him on their books paying big money.

Re: FAO Jimmy Kebe

It is precisely because we know that he can have moments of sheer genius and can terrorise defences that it is all the more maddening when he has one of his "what-am-I-doing-here" moments, standing still and wondering what to do next. The guy has some unusual footballing skills, but is ut...

Re: Loanwatch 09-10

Reading boss Brendan Rogers plans to send Dave Mooney, Julian Kelly, Scott Davies, Michail Antonio and Jay Tabb out on loan. Full story: Daily Mirror http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Reading-boss-Brendan-Rodgers-set-for-clear-out-article177287.html Only slight surprise in there is Tabb - though...

Re: Club Financial Statement

you have to remember the role of agents in this etc, not just because they get a cut of all deals which will be included in net transfers, but also that any agent worth his salt would have had a 50% wage increase put into the players contracts as soon as they reached the premier league. End of 2006...

My source tells me the 'board' is actually reference to HNA? and SJM is considering our well thought out advice.

Royalee
Maguire Rosenior made one for Ipswich at Sheffield Utd the other day.

He also scuffed his clearance which led to Sheffield's first goal.

Worse than that he pretty much passed it into his own penalty box and then ran back waving his arms around wildly ....

Just a note on Rosey - anyone see his 'delightful' clearance (not) vs Sheffield United that set up their first goal?

Re: Arab takeover interest reported on tribalfootball.com

Rich arabs my arse. This is all BS made up, imaginative yet no fun. I've been 100% on three rumours of summer transfer dealings, and a little else here and there. I wouldn't throw my hat into a wind up. I have better things to be doing. There is interest, it is real, but wether anything comes of it...

Quote from Preston site:
"Remember Kebe from last year. He murdered us but we scagged a win. One can only imagine that some of the time he can't be arsed, otherwise he would have followed several of his teammates into the Prem."

So true, so true.

True but beating Barnsley and Preston are two different things. Also, we've generally been playing better recently and also scoring goals. Just think it's a confidence thing .... really hope so anyway. Thinking about the last few games - tell me one where we've been really outplayed? All I can thin...
