Re: Finding a new Owner - Billionnaires to take things forward!

Bill Gates : Recently retired from his position at Microsoft, so must be getting a bit borred with all his free time. With Microsoft UK HQ also in Reading, he can come and watch games and then do business afterwards. Microsoft has traditionally not marketed itself through sport and sporting events....

I think it's a bit stupid simply comparing the bottom sides in the thread. In doing this you miss the whole picture. Everyone in the premier league is having problems signing players. It's not just us. Who have Blackburn bought perchance? Villa? Of course it's important to compare the bottom sides ...

Wycombe Royal
ankeny The bottom line is every other team is signing players that can go straignt into their first team,we are not.

Are they?

I look forward to your list of EVERY Premiership club and the players they have brought in who can go straight in to their first team.

The bottom line is every other team is signing players that can go straignt into their first team,we are not.We should stop burying our heads in the sand, this current team will get us relegated if we dont buy better players, end of.

All of the competition are signing like mad, good signings that make me jealous - but we get Jimmy Kebab. Wow. I'm thoroughly unimpressed. Fulham just spent £3.5M on Brede Hangeland, so that's their defence sorted. What about our defence? Guess it doesn't matter as long as we can have Kebab. And 5...

Small club mentality and a business before football club ethic is what needs addressing. I think Johnny M sees the club as 70% business 30% football club. A 50/50 split is what is required for the time being, we need to stay up and its abvious to all we need to sign some players and soon. If it mea...

Yes because it's that...

If you had asked the question 20 years ago everyone would have agreed with you.The FA cup was eagally awaited to see what "Big Club "we would get,now we play them all anyway and there will never be another Wimbledon.Ask the question, three points in the league or a win in the FA cup this Sa...

I dont know if anyone remembers this but in the early seventies we played Hartlepool on a wet Saturday afternoon and they had just two fans behind the Reading end.The funniest thing was that one of them got thrown out by the police for threatning the Reading fans on the south bank.
