Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Thing i dont understand about the failed Bearwood sale takes on here is, the planning permission said it was for the personal use of RFC. Ok, so all you have to do if you want to buy the training ground is ask the owner of the training ground to apply for a variation of that planning permission to ...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

I suspect the Wycombe owner is like the sterotypical women shopper...... Spends £22m on something you don't need and announces they've saved £28m because it was in the sale, then never uses it and ends up giving it to the charity shop a year later.

Re: Embargos, HMRC Payment defaults, non payment of wages, the usual under Dai Wrongge

Royalcop Hopefully we can arrange a stadium beam-back of Dai’s eventual show trial in Beijing a la the Brentford away game; I’d definitely pay to see it.
He may seek asylum in the UK.... if this was all part of his plan to win us all over, If so he's failed.

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Won't somebody please think of the footballers! If you put it into context If one of us earns more than a nurse we are likely to live a more expensive lifestyle than a nurse - have a bigger mortgage, have more kids, have a more expensive car on lease, that sort of thing. Maybe if you expect to earn...

Re: The run in.

Bottom of the playoffs, played more than all of our rivals and have the hardest run in. Doesn’t look great but stranger things have happened. I would say that’s it for us. A shame as we have been in the top six all season. But we only have ourselves to blame, losing to ten man Wycombe, Birmingham d...

Re: Potential New Owners

Tl;dr. What does it say, Bob, and why does it lead us to the pretty obvious conclusion that Ken and friends are the ideal leaders to bring the glory days back to Reading Football Club? Also does it mention that Mcateer is a cheating little prick? er... Ten Bob seems to have reported the post with t...

andrew1957 The estimated 17,000,000 globally who died shortly after having the covid vaccines should have listened to me too.
100% of the people who have died this year did not send me £100, That statistic is 100% fact so please please please all send me £100 so you don't end up as one of these statistics.

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Unfortunately I doubt any takeover will be in time to re-sign out of contract players such as Azeez and so we will likely lose them and have yet another major rebuilding job at the start of next season. However as starting next season - at all after the last few weeks - will be a bonus, I suppose w...

Re: Embargos, HMRC Payment defaults, non payment of wages, the usual under Dai Wrongge

You don't get to choose VAT monthly or quarterly depending on how big your VAT liabilities are. Stay away from doing your own tax affairs would be my advise. VAT is quaterly, but you may be asked to make payments on account monthly towards your VAT bill. HMRC will tell you to make payments on accou...

Re: #SellBeforeWeDai (to someone fit and proper)“ supporters action group

Has anyone at SBWD contacted Wokingham council to see if planning is transferrable, it was clearly in RFC name? Good spot :D - seems it's not transferrable Great stuff, who wants to claim credit for this ahead of the next election? - John Redwood says it would be unfair for the government to step i...

Re: Embargos, HMRC Payment defaults, non payment of wages, the usual under Dai Wrongge

... I believe HMRC is due this week, but that will be lower than the wage bill ... Does RFC pay VAT quarterly or monthly? If quarterly the HMRC bill this month could be substantially bigger than previous months. I imagine quaterly as there is no point in anyone paying their VAT monthly as it create...

Maybe we can also have a collection and make a donation from Hobnob Users?.... unless it's a really crap amount, in which case we can donate it on the quiet.

Noted that no statement by Reading FC on today's development. Perhaps there's more for them to include? The statement writer has probably had their hours cut, only works part time now so no statement until they're back in the office. If it's the same day as the internet person I guess it'll get pub...
