Re: We are down. So next season who stays and who goes?

FFS, dithering? The dithering that's given this club the longest sustained period of success in its history including two spells in the top flight and not a dull season for years? The dithering that has appointed a series of sought-after managers? The dithering that will leave a decent long-term pl...

Re: We can still stay up!

It's achievable, but highly unlikely. I for one am happy we get to watch Reading take on the likes of United & Arsenal. To take points off these teams would be a fantastic achievement regardless if they help us stay up or not. We usually raise our game for big teams, I expect the same here too.

Re: Most negative section of the stadium?

The whole ground is pretty negative. No atmosphere in town before games, outsung by the away fans every week. What is funny is that you can only tell 70% of our support are alive when a goal is scored and that silly music comes on! Very tempted to sacrifice all home games for aways next season to es...

Re: Time for a demo

I always think a demo is necessary when the club is going to achieve its third highest league finishing position ever... I am genuinely disgusted that we will be at least one division above, if not two divisions above our historical "home" league. I'm going to stand like a prick demonstra...

Re: Jobi reaction to ml sub

Whoever got booed it was harsh and sour grapes. Typical Reading fans at home, airing our dirty laundry in public. However, no smoke without fire - 'the establishment' at Reading this season have been an embarrassment and should take any criticism on the chin & be professional at the very least.

Re: Playing 44 minutes for the last 3 or so games

Not one to bash a player for not performing in one game, but Jobi has been despondant all season. Not only his personal performances, but his body language has been pathetic. Look back at Murty, Williams, Parky... Does Jobi even come close as a role model and leader???

McDermott interview

Tim please ask Brian why he persists with Jobi & Ledge over players such as Akpan & Hunt who look like they at least give a toss. Thanks :|

Re: Did we know Wigan was a big game

We were poor against Wigan but it could have been very different. The first 40 was close, and I think we had 2-3 chances which didn't get on target. Their 1st goal was defection/handball, 2nd goal individual error & class on their part. It was at this point I feel we mentally lost it, because th...

Re: BFTM/PC Stoke City (A)

That challenge would have been penalised had it occurred outside the area, therefore the ref was completely wrong not to have awarded a penalty - in essence he bottled it - possibly because of the time it happened? Isn't it pathetic how weak referees are when it comes to giving decisions simply bec...

It would be 1000 times better if sung closer to the pace and tune of the original record!

The current version is sung so fast - and in such a dour tone - its difficult to make out exactly what's being said...

Re: Chelsea (H) - sponsored by kicking the ball boy

I've never seen so many Reading fans flicking the Vs, even the posh old bint along the row from me was giving it large and yelling SCUM as she was gesticulating wildly  I can imagine!! I distinctly remember similar scenes after 2 stoppage time goals in the 1-1 with Ipswich '05. So many fans ou...
