Re: Baba Rahman

Low says the deal for a new LB is hoping to be completed today.

I'd love Baba back permanently tbh. Lots of players were part of a poor backline last season and some of them didn't perform nearly as well as Baba did.

Re: Ex Players

Yup, always said 42 games at the time Cooper just desperately needed 15 games in league 1 to become ready for the championship. The point isn't whether those players were ready, it's not many clubs release so much quality from their academy with no returns at almost the same time. 5 academy players ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Sheffield United (a)

They look a solid team with some quality still there - likes of Norwood, Berge, McBurnie all decent player Interesting to see Luton gave them a very good game though, imagine they aren’t dissimilar to us tactics wise Still expect we’d do very very well to get anything from it. And don’t think we wi...

Re: Ex Players

Snowflake Royal
NewCorkSeth Did we sell Hyam or let him leave on a free?

Leave on a free iirc.

Him and Dickie were so obviously class as well. :x

Soo we get nothing from this transfer?

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

When did we say we were good? we could be playing still and we’d be waiting for a free kick in a good position or a bit of luck. We lacked quality in the final third even after the substitutions, but to be fair reading were happy to defend the 1-0. They’re not as good as they think they are. The of...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a)

Well yeah that’s fair enough. Concentrate on the here and now. Though would love us to finish above Cardiff, Stoke and WBA of course, with one eye on those 3 leaving us. But more than happy with the current midfield. Need to stay fit and if Luongo comes in that gives us something a little different...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a)

They were good the season before last. Was anyone good last season? Sometimes good players just perform badly. Rino played less than half the games and when he came back from injury some of the first comments were how obviously we'd missed him. I stand by Laurent as an excellent player too. The coa...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Sheffield United (a)

Which CB would you drop? It's between McIntyre and Hutchinson, I'd probably lean Hutch. Would probably agree Hoilett over NGW for Sheff to give him longer to recover and go for experience first. Sadly I lean McIntyre.. Hutch is there to do a different job. Loum covers, Hutch smashes. Even won a goo...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

True, but if you lay on hands you run the risk... as I said, not strong. Better than the handball. The second one was the best shout, but even that would have been pretty soft. Think Millwall hurt their chances of getting a penalty by insisting too much on minor fouls. Ref seemed in the mindset tha...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Sheffield United (a)

I'd be very happy with a draw from this. Would like to see Hoilett or Guiness-Walker come in for one of the four CBs. But always hard to change a winning side. I'd go with Hoilett, has an uncanny ability to win free kicks in good positions. Make the most of Sarr in the box while we can. Which CB wo...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

It was his upper arm, it was straight at him and there's literally nowhere else his arm could have been. That's never a pen in a million years. The other pen shouts were better. Not strong, but better. Their first pen shout was bullshit, he fell over before he'd even been pulled. True, but if you l...

paultheroyal And maybe just maybe (and I have been saying it) Laurent and Rhinomota not very good perhaps?

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

You thick plank, if Afobi hadn`t touched it it wouldn`t have been on target. Afoebe was offside if he had the last touch (he probably did) but if he didn’t touch it the goal should have stood. The second penalty shout for handball in the second half was a penalty, the defender definitely moved his ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Middlesbrough (h)

Well, my prediction of Middlesbrough having a good season is looking pretty shite. They're playing like we used to when we were really bad under Clowno and Stam. They'll be in a relegation fight if they play like that all season. They've got to get better second half. Painfully slow, playing in the...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Middlesbrough (h)

Loum's performance is unravelling. Hutch plays nasty, but dangerous fk here. But close for a shot. I cant watch today, what do you mean by unravelling? Losing the ball a lot? He's missing some challenges, lost the ball creating a break and tweaked a muscle. Plus Loum sounds a bit like Loom. Ahh I s...
