Re: “ Sell before we Dai (to someone fit and proper)“ supporters action group v2.3b sponsored by Sports Direct Tennis Ba

Can we have a media watch on this to see whether the events at the SCL today get any real coverage of note outside of the FL highlights programme and local media. It just flashed up on my phone as a Sky News notification - ‘’watch the moment football fans invading the pitch and throwing tennis ball...

Re: “ Sell before we Dai (to someone fit and proper)“ supporters action group v2.3b sponsored by Sports Direct Tennis Ba

Your protest changes nothing. It doesn’t encourage buyers, it won’t persuade Dai to go. It won't be wecomed by players or staff. It's all downside. I agree it’s all downside. For me personally, I want to go on the pitch today. I appreciate that it’ll probably achieve nothing but no way am I standin...

Re: “ Sell before we Dai (to someone fit and proper)“ supporters action group v2.3b sponsored by Sports Direct Tennis Ba

I agree that a post game protest will make little traction. Also, the calls on the EFL/politicians to intervene through traditional methods are unlikely to be successful. Let’s not forget the EFL have already tried to disqualify Dai and force him to sell the club - that was rejected by the independe...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Port Vale (h)

At this point it couldn't be clearer Dai'll have no second thoughts about the club going under. He's not getting any money back from his investment, and he's willing to get fined tens of thousands of pounds repeatedly for not depositing what, for him, is a measly sum as per the EFL's instructions. ...

Re: Selles In

Ruben’s interview with The Chronicle today suggests he’s not far from packing it in.

Getting nothing encouraging from the owner, losing his coaching team around him, having to front-up to the media for all the crap, etc.

No wonder he is mentally tired.

Re: Record Watch 23/24

TalkSPORT this evening - 5.41 - brilliant passionate speech from Hugh Woozencroft as to why Reading 106 are the best Championship team ever regardless of what Leicester achieve.

Nice to hear a presenter / pundit talking so knowledgeably for once.

Millsy Surprise surprise Azeez in great position to score, fluffs it up.

Criticism of Azeez is out of date - he’s been by far the best player for weeks now and looks really dangerous now his confidence is up.

3 home games on the spin now. No reason why we couldn’t build some real confidence and get a decent unbeaten run going.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bristol Rovers (h)

Rovers fans are right - continued tennis ball throwing is embarrassing. It’s half-hearted and had its day.

Think of a better protest or stay stum.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Portsmouth (h)

Cracking entertainment that game. Think we have to take it in the context of 23rd vs 1st and we have them a bloody good scare and in the last 15 minutes had a good go at the equaliser. Elliott looked class and needs to play from the start. Mbengue came on and played liked a hero…..then a lunatic aft...

Pepe the Horseman Should that have been a red, even though he played advantage?

Didn’t deny the clear goalscoring opportunity because he still had that opportunity.

Fair play to Smith in some respects for not going down.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Portsmouth (h)

The tennis ball antics were frankly embarrassing, but seemed to distract the Pompey players at least.

Unfortunately we have now woken the beast.

Re: Huddersfield penalty shoot out - sliding doors?

Maybe there is a thread to merge this with. But I've seen a few threads and heard a few podcasts look upon the shoot out against Huddersfield in 2017 as the sliding doors moment under Dai; a counterfactual. I say total bollocks. Had we got promoted, it would have meant more money to piss away, more...

Re: BFTG Fleetwood shambles

Watched that last night, first game I’ve seen for a while Fleetwood goal at the end was inevitable, barely even felt disappointed which says a lot First 30 were as bad as I’ve ever seen us play. Again it’s not the fault of just a system (it’s 4-4-2 despite all the noise about 4-2-2-2), but the way ...

Not saying out yet. But he's an absolute shambles. And we all know managers don’t recover from this position. Next up we have acup game at home V Swindon who will be out for blood. Then a home game vs 2nd place Oxford, who will take delight in smashing us. Before being back away at Charlton and thr...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Exeter City (a)

Pepe the Horseman This is the best we've ever played. Elliott should've made it 2-0. Sent the keeper the wrong way, but saved with his feet.

Stunning early call
