Re: What is the point in HRK

After seeing the game Saturday I can only assume that if we buy Beric, HRK will be shipped of asap to offset the transfer fee and wages.

Once the rest of the squad is fit he will simply not get in the starting line up unless we are plagued with injuries.

Re: Hugely improved

Birmingham just go to show that you can show more discernable improvement over a shorter space of time than Clarke has managed After we hit the bar 3? times, miss a penalty and they win by the odd goal. This thread is a waste of bandwidth Bit like your comments mate. Its an opinion forum if you did...

Re: Hugely improved

I was on BBCRB last year after a game towards the end of the season saying that I really did not think Clarke was up for the job. I know it was not his team etc...etc. but I just didn't see him and RFC as a fit. And he was getting no more out of the team than Adkins. There was no new manager bounce ...

Re: How many more?

The big bit of business still to be done is to find someone willing to pay for HRK, get rid, fee up salary and a provide small budget to actually pay for a decent striker. Then IMHO all our business is done. As an aside, I am still not actually convinced Clarke is the man for the job but needs to be...

Big Foot
Jagermesiter1871 So basically if Blackman could finish like Gunter we'd have walked it?

Shhhhhhhhhhhhh

He's got nothing to prove, remember?

I wonder at what point this season he may well regret saying that.....?

Re: Nick Blackman

Surely the fact he's in a blue and white shirt should mean our fans have at least a bit of time for him. I think your m8 Gunts is a complete c[u]nt but at 15:00 on a Saturday I support him and his team mates. I agree. But it goes both ways then doesn't it and his attitude to the fans at Derby when ...

Re: Nick Blackman

Like HRK he has an arrogance problem that gives the impression he thinks he is far better than he is. His reaction at Derby last year to the fans spoke volumes.

I would not be surprised if he had the same agent as HRK.

Re: CONFIMRED - Orlando Sa

NewCorkSeth First team is starting to look very decent. Would be nice to have a striking option off the bench. Someone who offers something different like Alf did!

HRK offers something different off the bench. Not what we want or need but definitely something different.

Re: Summer Rebuild

What's good about the signings so far is that it provides a whole new spine to the team. Back in the day we have Hannaman, Sonko/Ingar, Sidwell/Harper and Doyle/Kitson and now the shape looks like Bond, Hector/McShane, Williams/Quinn and Sa/Pog. Since 106 season we have never looked so secure throu...

Re: What is the point in HRK

Rumours now that while RFC are saying they are looking for £2.5m for Kanu, Clarke would take less than half that. You bet he would. Heavens knows how much Kanu is paid to put in crap performances in the league each week. So would free up a fair chunk of change to give to a player who actually looks ...

Re: What is the point in HRK

If I was Reading manager I would be on the phone to the Wales manager asking him what the secret was..... maybe it's having better players around him that brings out the best in him, If that's the case we have no chance and should sell him. Seriously though, If he's playing well for us that can onl...

Re: What is the point in HRK

With the season I had in the Premier League, I scored seven goals. That’s no mean feat in a team that struggled in the league. It was a massive achievement personally and gave me a lot of belief.” Here we go again. FFS Kanu - every one of these prem goals was a consolation goal at the end of game a...

Re: Safe standing end?

Yeh you have to think for a family club like Reading it would be a backwards move - a lot of the families that now frequent the stadium might be put off if all the yobos from the Elm Park days come back because of terracing. As one of the above mentioned yobos from Elm Park I am now in my mid 50's ...

Re: What is the point in HRK

Extended-Phenotype Must admit that I personally find Pog more disappointing than HRK

At least he looks as if he cares, puts a shift in when required and steps up in the big games - HRK does none of the aforementioned when playing for RFC.

Re: What is the point in HRK

It would help us all if his idiot agent requested a meeting with RFC this summer a la Sterling and demanded a huge weekly hike in his salary on an extended contract otherwise he would have to look to leave.

Please.
