Re: The 4 needed to complete the team

We needed 4 as of 12 July, and ended up with 9. Rafael, Morrison, Miazga, Adam, Pele, Boye, Ejaria Joao, Puscas Could be worse. Interesting seeing where those suggested above ended up. Ajayi to WBA, Mount in Chelsea's first team Williams - still appears to be a free agent Harry Wilson - on loan at ...

Re: The 4 needed to complete the team

With a GK signed we have 4 other places to fill in the team CB, AM/Winger, CM and CF Ideally you would bring the loan 4 back but that is not always possible (Miazga, Ejaria, Baker, Oliveira) so if you had to pick a REALISTIC alternative 4 who would you have for me it would be CB Semi Ajayi (Rotherh...

Re: José Gomes whelmguage

If a manager is judged on signings then positively whelmed. Based on the end of last season through to now. Time will tell, but that's the current standing in my view. Wait, it’s actually the manager that’s making the signings at our club again? Must have a say but there's Kia's fingerprints over R...

Let's see how he is tactically and through the results we pick up before deciding.

Re: Rumour - Rafael Cabral

If he`s coming in to replace Virginia you have to look at the merits of using up one of the 5 match day loan places for someone sitting on the bench without the likely prospect of getting on. Why ? It’s a really easy call to make ! If there are 5 loan players already in the squad then no goalkeeper...

John Smith I always rated Ryan Taffazoli from Peterborough.

One that trialled for us, after he left Southampton's academy. Ended up at Concord Rangers.

Re: Rumour: Lucas Joao

Madness, Sam Rourke @samrourke_ Been told Reading are keen on Sheffield Wednesday striker Lucas Joao, but fee could prove a hurdle in this deal, with the Owls wanting upwards of £5m. An initial loan move is a possibility. #ReadingFC #SWFC The last sentence is the key there - loan him this s...

Re: Are we still heading for a 9pt deduction?

So the owners other club KSV Roeselare haven’t been paying their players, and Tevreden hadn’t received a pay check for over 5 months before walking out last week. The Chinese are selling the club but they haven’t gone about it the right way. I hope they don’t wash their hands with us like that in t...

A number of players and coaching staff are not overly happy with the rise of Teddy Howe. Accelerated to first team appearances not solely based on his ability.    fake news, was a standout in the u23s, has had to do a lot more to prove himself then some others due to claims lik...

Re: Are we still heading for a 9pt deduction?

Because we were reviewed for FFP in March which included a forecast for 18/19. We will have passed that, else we would know by now. For 19/20, things will be tight and the embargo will have been in place to assist us. The 19/20 review in March 20 will cover the period: 17/18 - £20.9m loss 18/19 - a...

Re: Are we still heading for a 9pt deduction?

No, because we're ok for 18/19. The soft embargo was preventative, to stop us breaching in 19/20.
