Re: January window

No brainer if we are going to buy - pointless if its just another loan. Wheres Gibson? Holmes has played his way into being an option. 4th choice CB and a good option at RB. I would rather have Homes in the team right now than another loan guy who by the time he is up to championship speed, the seas...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bournemouth (h)

Maybe i have such a high hopes every time Ovie gets the ball and the opposite for Aluko. Just wish Ejaria would do something with the ball after maybe 1 or 2 touches.
But Aluko in my eyes has played his way into the squad.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bournemouth (h)

Rafael Holmes Morro McIntyre Richards Laurent Rino Olise Swift Ejaria Joao Southwood Yiadom Meite Aluko Baldock Esteves Gibson Semedo Tetek Proper options on the bench and nearly full strength first 11 Might be controversial, but i would put Aluko in instead of Ejaria. I do think Ejaria slows the g...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Preston North End (a)

Rafael Holmes Morrison McIntyre Richards Rino Laurent Aluko Swift Ejaria Joao Pauno thinks Aluko is better in that position - as he was the one that replaced Olise when he got injured. Semedo is a CM. Holmes just about stays int he team for me for a 2 reasons, consistency in team selection is key an...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Preston North End (a)

Isn't the point of our midfield 3 is to being to seamlessly interchange as the game unfolds? And we dont actually use wingers in the traditional way. So I wouldn't class Olise, Aluko, Meite, Ejaria all as natural wingers and thats probably why it works. So i would rule out Esteves in that position, ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Coventry City (h)

Couple of things : 1. I really, really want to be able to like what Aluko and Baldock bring to the team but they do make it difficult. Not so much Aluko last night, although he wasn’t particularly good, but poor Sam. Clearly, he doesn’t intend to be crap but he’s definitely achieving it. He tries s...

Re: Rumour - Richards to Everton

If we sell Richards now, we can at least have some control in his contract - sell on clauses / app bonus / cup bonus - If it is genuinely Bayern Munich, they are almost certain to win cups / leagues. Also command decent fees for their players. Also for a player looking in - teams like Bayern looking...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stoke City (h) sponsored by John Halls

Lets try talking about the game...... I think Stoke need to come here and not lose which could be an issue for us if they don't come at us a bit. I think we are at our best when teams attack us and we hit on the counter. Agree. If they come to play, we got a good chance. If they come to sit deep we...

Re: Bowen Out.

Very knee jerk reaction. If the tactics and performances dont improve then yes. But lets be honest this was the 1st very shit performance. Hull was turgid and forgettable and uninspiring. One small tactic really sent shock waves through the team. By dropping swift in deep, it could have been a maste...

Re: BFT well I don’t know what to call it without resorting to a lot of naughty words

Moore is a good CB, a very good CB on his day. But he has been acting like charlie big bollocks since his contract debacle a few seasons ago, then to be handed the captains armband is a bit off to me. He is desperate to play in the prem but when the chips were down last night he folded.

Re: BFT well I don’t know what to call it without resorting to a lot of naughty words

If there ever was a an advert for how not to win a game of football, last night was it. And it lands on Bowen. Change formation Change game plan Change personnel Put a player on the bench you have no intention of playing. Moore should be ashamed to be called captain after last night, he HAS to lead ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Leeds United (a) sponsored by Simon Church

Free hit, no pressure to get a result as Leeds are by far the greatest team ever to grace the championship. Actually, think the EFL should just gift them what ever points they need to get to 107 points at the end of the season, you know, as a gesture of goodwill......... We have players who with no ...

Re: Leeds (A) Saturday February 22nd

They probs pride themselves in paying more and willing to pay more than the average fan, as they are not an average club. They have an abnormally large fan base for a team that hasn't actually done much for 10 years +. But the petty slating on twitter by Leeds lack a lot of class. They know the aver...

Obviously the lure of a pissing sink in his bedroom was too much to resist.

Good luck to him, think he has made the right move, at the right level for him to develop.
Yaidom and Gunter till the end of the season is still pretty good options, with Rino as an emergency cover

Re: BFTG Bristol citeh.

Maybe, maybe not. I would like the club to at least try it and see. The Ian's of this world will still stay away as they can't be bothered but a lot of supporters who may have not been for a while may be encouraged to return. isnt that exactly what they did do with £10 bring a mate tickets? They ca...

Very much a battle in the middle of the park. whoever comes out on top will win. If Adam starts, he will be clearly targeted - wind him up get him on a yellow. So i would put Pele in there and bring Adam on later on Baldock with his movement / work rate has to start IMO A game like tonight, to me sc...

yes, he's been quality for them this year. Swift-like stats Is he the lad from Portsmouth? if so, thought we should've snapped him up at the time. Yep he went to Wolves and hated it, didn't like being that far north. His uncle Andy used to be a client of mine in one of my old jobs, great lad by all...

John Smith I see Harry Arter scored goal of the round in the FA Cup this weekend, against Premier League opposition, further proving his ability to perform at the highest level

Out of interest, who has said he isn't quality?
Surely his 3 seasons has already proved he is good enough for the Prem?

Im all up for 2nd chances but you got to earn your 2nd chance. 3rd chance should not be a thing. He cant waltz back into the squad and expect to be considered. What would that say to rest of the squad who have been on the sidelines waiting to prove themselves? He was shipped out to the first club wi...
