Re: Puscas

Yes he has been. The only people who think not can't get past the fee which whilst large is massively incentive based and the only way we'll pay all of it is if his goals get us up or he scores so many we end up selling a Puscas entering his prime for at least what we paid.

So being 13th is about right then.

Yes and it seems about right.

13th including the Gomes management, but much better since

Well yes, that is why we are 13th and also why we have Bowen in charge, so cannot be discounted.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Charlton Athletic (a) sponsored by Deniss Rakels

Zip If the League table was based on home performances alone we would be third from bottom. If based on away games only we would be sixth.

So being 13th is about right then but suggests if we can just be average at home then play-off a definite possibility.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Charlton Athletic (a) sponsored by Deniss Rakels

Mathematically safe Now push for top half finish and that's not been a bad season. Believe that was our 13th clean sheet this season, not a bad return. Yeah that surprised me as well. Defensively we’ve turned a corner. We do need to dominate midfield more though. Yep. Under Gomes we shipped 17 in t...

Norwich relegated following their thrashing by West Ham coupled with Watford's win. Those results pretty much confirming Bournemouth and Villa for the drop too barring a miracle escape.

Snowflake Royal You fancy we're going to need a second to win this.

Charlton will throw everything at us 2nd half. They need something from this game.

Based on those fixtures, Wigan will finish a minimum of 12pts clear of the bottom 3 and stay up, prob on GD.

Mid Sussex Royal Hudds can't catch us now with away games V Sheff W & Millwall and home to West Brom

With those fixtures they won't catch us but they mathematically can.

Mid Sussex Royal No thanks - did well in midfield with Stephens when Brighton went up but that was a a while ago and he's hardly played since

This season very true but past 2 seasons had 37 PL apps for Brighton.

Rumour - Beram Kayal

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-8509555/Released-Brighton-midfielder-Beram-Kayal-attracting-Reading-Bristol-City.html Apparently we're interested in the recently released Brighton midfielder. Would likely be affordable wages and add some experience to the side in the middle. Free ...

Re: Rumour - Ronan Curtis

Hound Yeah almost signed him a few years back

Think he went for 1st team footy. Meant to have been very good this year

Was last summer I think, he signed for Pompey as thought he would have a quicker path to first team and prove himself in English football, seems to have done that.

Re: BFI Follow Huddersfield

Just catching up on this thread - I will ignore the game and will focus on posters comments around Tim Dellor. FFS get a grip. Changing his name to something else is so cringeworthy and pathetic. He is providing a radio commentary. Its that commentary which is sitting over the I-follow broadcast. H...

Re: Rival Watch

Jesus Christ Stoke are shit, so of course we drew against them. My fault that, am married to Stoke fan so means games will always be draws. Would expect Stoke to beat Brum at the weekend but now the latter have changed manager that'll be tougher. Can't see any points coming elsewhere. Wigan have a ...

Just realised if Wigan do not win the appeal we are just 1pt from mathematically being safe. As Wigan play Barnsley and Hull next that will come very quickly.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Huddersfield Town (h) sponsored by Craig Maskell

Anyone wanting Bowen out for not yet improving home form when it is clearly a long term deep rooted mental issue at the club is a bit foolish esp. given that in his 31 games he has turned us from a team heading for a relegation battle at best to one challenging the top half. If nothing has changed b...

paultheroyal Am I right in saying that a win tonight and Luton / Barnsley draw we are mathematically safe?

Bowen has done alright hasn't he? Some turnaround.

Assuming Wigan don't get their points deduction cancelled/suspended then yes we will be.

I don't expect being 12th for 24 hours to be mentioned as it is completely irrelevant. Not as a target for the players it isn't Do they get medals for it? The "Congratulations, you were 12th for 24 hours" medal? Ridiculous. Ah got it. You're just choosing to be obtuse. Good day to you sir.
