Not on sale yet. Home tickets usually go on sale around four or five weeks prior to the game - so I'd expect them to go on sale next week.

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Do the club own the training ground or is it another company linked to Dai? ie if he sells the training ground for £20m presumably that money goes to him not to the club. It's still up to him if he gives any of these funds to the club to complete the season. There was a useful picture someone poste...

Re: Wycombe Wanderers to purchase Bearwood

Apparently we’ll be getting around half it’s construction cost for it - around £25m.

He can somehow sell the training ground for a cut price deal, but not the club. Affirms asset stripping is the objective. :x

Re: Wycombe Wanderers to purchase Bearwood

Wow, utterly shocked to the core!!!! There goes our Cat1 Academy and any chance of attracting decent players for the future......if we have a future that is.   I’m not sure we’ll have any academy now, let alone a Category One academy. Can’t see how we could meet any requirements ...

Wycombe Wanderers to purchase Bearwood

The Athletic are reporting Wycombe Wanderers are to purchase Bearwood. Reading owner Dai Yongge has agreed to sell the club’s Bearwood Park training ground to local rivals Wycombe Wanderers, less than five years after the state-of-the-art facility was opened. The former Premier League side were in ...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

All the players will become free agents, most of them won`t have too many problems finding new clubs, and quite frankly they will be happy to be released from this shit show. Just wonder what will happen to the stadium, it will still be there for quite a while and a reminder of what used to be. In ...

Re: If a buyer isn’t going to happen, would you rather?

I've done the research to settle it for you both. From c. 2000 - 2006 it was a story of consistent, modest losses in the £2m - £5m ball park. 2006 would have been a loss even without the promotion bonuses. In our 2 PL seasons we made c. £6.5m p.a., essentially recouping the losses up until then. In...

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

Royals and Racers Goalkeeper Matt Rowley who has been on loan at Beaconsfield has been recalled and moved to Dover Athletic on another loan.

I take it that's a level higher than what he was playing at. Good luck to him.

Re: Embargos, HMRC Payment defaults, non payment of wages, the usual under Dai Wrongge

I wouldn't be surprised to see Bearwood sold to a Chinese company, probably one of that Dai has a stake in. An "advanced payment" (just enough to keep the club ticking over until RFC is no more,) Dai or his cronies, then own the stadium and training ground, Illegal in this country, probab...

Tony Le Mesmer Attendance 15,038.

Not close to being the highest attendance of the season as was suggested before the game unfortunately - just under 16,000 is the highest so far.

I have "been there" as a Newport County Fan Going out of the league and bust was horrible and frankly I thought the re-launch was a hopeless dream... We were forced to play outside Wales (at Moreton-in-the Marsh) for a fair while. With four others, I ran the 80 miles to Moreton, raising c...

Re: The 92 Club - how many have you done?

I did get up to 84 of the 92, but have let it slip since I moved away from the South so not been to places like West Ham & Spurs recently. Impressive numbers. Had a look at doing West Ham. Would be able to get down to their game against Freiburg next Thursday (17:45 kick-off), but saw ticket pr...

Tomorrow #ReadingFC will have their highest home crowd of the season so far with over 15,500 tickets sold. Via: [@james_e1871] I didn't realise our best crowd of the season was so low. I was reading about a high crowd being expected and was thinking 18000+. I guess this season has been all about ad...

windermereROYAL West Reading station closed today due to an `incident` for anybody thinking of choosing this route from Reading.

Looks like it's just a temporary issue. Things should be back to normal by 13:00 - https://www.nationalrail.co.uk/service- ... -20240309/

Re: The 92 Club - how many have you done?

I've done 39 of the current 92, plus the old grounds of Arsenal, Coventry and Brentford. I've also done a couple of former Football League grounds that are still in use in non-league; one was a Football League ground at the time. There's no real pattern to the grounds I've done - not done Chelsea, ...

Re: Cross Border Cup Idea - Scottish And English Sides

I am assuming the original post was some kind of spam (and a quick search for it shows much if it was taken from another website) but I have said on here for yonks there should be a combined British or maybe UK cup!! Would be good if the League Cup was replaced with a joint cup competition. Would h...

Does anyone have any knowledge of Macron's sizing? I've not bought a football shirt since Puma were our suppliers and I was a Medium with them; a more recent Castore training top I have is a Small and feels looser than the Puma tops. I always feel the size charts companies give is a bit inaccurate....

Re: Generic clubs in financial crisis Thread

Leicester could get a points deduction next season, due to PSR breach. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2024/03/06/leicester-city-summer-player-sale-points-deduction/ Seems like it could get messy. I maintain the La Liga method of giving clubs spending limits at the start of the season is what'...
