Yep agree on Southwood. Tough period for him - cost us big time against Hull and Derby. 2 massive games, 2 inexplicable and huge mistakes. He's a talented keeper but not sure if its his concentration or something else
I think the club would be absolutely over the moon if they could shift Puscas and Moore off the wage book along with Rafael. Maybe get in a few quid for Puscas along the way. Reckon thats probably what they are fully focussed on.
Save 70k a week or so for 3 players who aren't contributing.
Yeah Morrison will be in the first team squad. Along with Clarke, Camara, Bristow, Holzman, Ashcroft and Stickland, as long as they aren't missing due to injury.
Whats happened to Ehibhatiomhan? Injured I assume?
Would be very very very happy to be proved wrong but was told weeks ago that he wasn't going to be signing an extension on his deal. yeah as said above, don't really see him staying til the end of the year. But he could do another 3 games for us without affecting his own situation for the feb-May. ...
Yeah he was a good signing Rafael, generally did well for us. Form certainly dropped this year, and was the right time to hand over to Southwood. Suspect he'd have been happily kept on til the end of this year if it wasn't for the finances. Good luck to him
I hope he does stay on for the remainder of the season and we can shift Puscas on. Joao returning is a bonus and Meite within the next month potentially and we have 3 very capable strikers for the rest of the season. been like this all season hasn't it - 'when x player returns....' Our first 11 cou...
Monumental week coming up for us. Toxic atmosphere aside, 2 back to back wins will go a long way in ensuring safety - 7 wins should be enough - to get that down to 5 would be a massive step. We will know alot more about the team come the end of this week. thats true, but our likely team looks so in...
are we facing financial ruin? news to me. If what was meant was contributed to us blowing FFP, then yes. I don't think was a Gourlay screw up. If Moore was correct in his interviews, Gourlay had accepted he would leave for Brighton. This mess was Dai's own doing. I did think particularly in terms o...

no way worth a million with 6 months left The alternative was paying his contract in full, or possibly subsidising his wages on a loan somewhere. For once I suspect the agent has done us a favour in helping get rid and make some saving, though obviously also used it as an opportunity to line his own...
