Reading v Derby protest - One person threw a tennis ball onto the pitch at half time, came from either the Lower West near the away fans or it was one of the away fans (seemed to come from that direction, but doesn't make sense that it would have been thrown by them) Makes perfect sense Forbury. So...

Re: Potential New Owners

Those sales are what fuelled in for them and it's where we have fallen on the wrong side significantly under Dai. The season we had a wages-turnover ratio of over 200%, I believe they were second in the table at like 180%. It was obviously taken at a moment in time, but of course selling players fo...

Really good interview on Sky just now with Ben Thomas from the Tilehurst End Podcast. Thought he spoke very eloquently and conveyed the current situation in a very measured way. Full marks to you sir

Re: Do you agree with todays pitch invasion and match abandonment?

100% yes. And well done to everybody who stood their ground. Quite a few of us did it back in the day at Elm Park, after a tonking from Palarse. Johnny Mad came on the mike and the rest is history. For all his tactical faults, in past games, Selles went up in a lot of peeps estimation yesterday. At ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cheltenham Town (a)

Talking of away grounds up North, who went up for the Wunderland game when we were in the Prem? Me and bruv flew up there, literally, and our mate, who lives in Sunderland, picked us up from Newcastle airport. He also said "If it wasn't you lads coming up here, there's no other way you'd catch ...

He's well worth a punt for a promotion chasing side trying to capitalise on our off pitch situation. Isn't his contract also up in the summer? Good luck to any clubs who want to buyone of our first team without there being a release fee clause they can trigger. They’ll have to get in touch with Dai...

Anybody watch the piece on Sky today, regarding the Turkish owner at Hull? He went into their social club, that was reasonably full, and offered to buy everyone a drink. Imagine the wrong 'un turning up at the Jazz Cafe and offering to do the same. "The bottled waters are on me. Oh, did I use t...

Talking of ex-players, and I know this has been mentioned on another thread, Kits was really giving it some after last night's game. He certainly wasn't holding back and, personally, I thought it was great to hear somebody as straight talking and passionate as he is. Fair play to the bloke. Even th...

I expect this has been asked loads of times so apologies in advance. On the occasions I attend, it's always on a Saturday and I get the train in to town and then the bus. As it's a Tuesday, against Oxford (concerned about potential trouble) and and I've got my 11 year old in tow who needs to go to ...

 at the bloke on BBCRB saying get Gerrard as manager. "Hi Steven, it's Mark Bowen here. How'd you like to give up a trillion pounds a week in Saudi Arabia and come to Reading and not get paid." I heard that as well. Was more of child than a bloke I hoped. He said Reading fans were &q...

What on earth was that all about today? Quite simply, Selles has got to jump on the next train to wherever. And I know that my mate, Micky L, will ensure that it's running. Seriously, eight changes from the the Carlisle game? FFS

genome Confidence bereft squad, under pressure manager, away to Wycombe? I've seen this one before

Would that include 'Taxi for Terry' when a few of us piled over to Poxford and we got spanked 3-0?

Re: Selles out

I have just listened to Hutchinson’s interview on BBCRB and from what he didn’t say I believe Selles has lost the dressing room. Dellor asked him the question about the whole squad being behind Selles and Hutch didn’t give a resounding yes. Totally agree. And when Dellor tried to force Selles' hand...

Re: MATCHWATCH : MK Dons (h)

Flat first half and you could argue MK DONS were the better treat. Whatever that defensive line up was in the first half needs to stop. So open at the back certainly from our defensive left side. Any decent winger would have a field day and be allowed to have so many one on ones running into space....

Good lord. I think the organisers are in for a bad day tomorrow. It will end up being the same 100 people who protested outside the ground last season. Chronic reports that Kits will be walking with them. In addition Kits now has a weekly column in the paper to talk about Reading and his new footba...
