Re: Leeds united

Was anyone else in the After Dark on Saturday Night? It kicked off somewhat for a while between Leeds and Reading fans, as far as I could make out. Wasn't sure who was who in the scuffles so not sure which side were being the bigger bellends but was all rather pathetic. A couple of friends were out...

Re: If RFC don't make the play-offs....

For the marginal difference in stadium size? bingo! Also for the continental feel that currently only the AMEX can capture here in England, as well as allowing Brighton to adjust to their regular Champions League appearances after they win the Premier League in 2017/2018. "Stand Or Fall"

Re: THE BETTING THREAD

Tonight's Sky Sports clash is Oxford United Vs Bolton (ReadingFC) Wanderers Reading FC hero Phil Parkinson will take Andrew Taylor, Jem Karacan and Adam Le Fondre along with him to Oxford's Kassam Stadium to attempt to get one over on our bitter local rivals and put a little smile on our faces. Re: BFTG - Wednesday (A)

What a superb evening and one that could well be so meaningful come the end of the season. We were the better side, no doubt. They delivered the crosses in well in the last few minutes but I was always confident we'd hold on. No one has mentioned how good Kermorgant was: winning everything in the ai...

Re: If RFC don't make the play-offs....

I reckon it was the PNE game that did it for him. Did what for him? Has Stam been sacked? He was saying that it was the home defeat against Preston that lost McDermott his job. The game where we were rubbish and fell a goal behind before Quinny popped up with an unlikely equaliser before we patheti...

Re: If RFC don't make the play-offs....

And I just saw now that Aitor Karanka was sacked. Is that not a ridiculous decision? So Boro, like Reading when we were in the top flight have been dire. Sack the boss. Obviously it can't be anything to do with the players or that they might not be good enough for the Prem. Just sack Karanka. A new...

Me and me Dad will be arriving by train early afternoon then making our way down Division Street (some great boozers down there) and then down to Kelham Island. Having lived in the city for 3 years would recommend both areas to any other tourists tomorrow! :D I can vouch for Kelham Island being a s...

Re: Brian Tevreden to Derby??

Mcdermott was tactically inept. The reason he was successful for us, is the reason that Shakespeare is getting results at Leicester . That simply comes down to being surrounded by staff and a group of players who know you and respect you and vice versa. Mcdermott showed this on his second time as m...

No Fixed Abode Yep, Atsu has been far worse than the likes of Danzell Gravenberch.

What's he got to do with anything?

You said I couldn't be any "more wrong" when I've just proved I could.

Re: Brian Tevreden to Derby??

This is precisely the reason why we were always better off with a more modest management structure in the shape of Brian McDermott. These big name bosses as soon as they start doing well they're gone in a flash. If Stam heads out the door too then all the recent progress made in the past 6 months w...

Re: If RFC don't make the play-offs....

Why's that? Aren't Fulham only 3 points behind and there are still 9 games to go..? Erm, why? They are 3 points away with 27 points to play for. They will be in the top 6 if they win at the weekend due to the fact us and Wednesday are playing each other and they have a superior GD. My explanation i...

Re: Sheffield Wednesday (A) Predictions

Hola mi amigos. Greetings from Sheffield. Should be an interesting encounter and one which is certainly hard to predict before hand, although I suppose that is the nature of the Championship. Worrying thing for ourselves is our absolutely wretched injury list. Pretty much our best 5-6 players were ...

Re: If RFC don't make the play-offs....

I agree with that, very disappointing. I'd like to think that those who post on here are often the extreme end of opinions and a small subset, but the attendances reflect the negativity as well. Don't quite know why really, but must be frustrating for the players etc As if they really care what fan...
