Re: Rival Watch

I doubt anyone doubts Leeds quality, it's just funny when they fail.

Hence why I want West Brom to get a winner, I would also like Huddersfield to get relegated so 2 birds with 1 stone.

Re: Roger Smee or John Madejski?

The Smee camp will be chock full of old boys like me who helped the club in its darkest hour. The Sir Mad camp overloaded with youngsters who only have memories of the souless bowl that carries his name. Perhaps in twenty years wev can have another poll discussing the merits of Lord Mad versus new ...

Re: How do we become good again?

It's very possible that his 2 injuries has made him seem like the saviour we need as he's only had to play in two brief spells, perhaps if he hadn't got injured he would have shown that inconsistency that saw Sheffield Wednesday fans more than happy to see the back of him.

Re: How do we become good again?

What exactly do you disagree with in regards to my comment? A lot! For a start Joao came to us with a rep for being very inconsistent. It would be asking a lot to expect him to play consistently well throughout the season. It has not happened before in his career so why do you think it will change ...

Re: How do we become good again?

Isn't this standard behaviour? Any player that is injured/dropped/not being played is immediately the saviour of Reading. It is interesting that on the POTS thread Joao hardly gets a mention. Because he's been injured most of the season, if he hadn't and kept the form he had when he was playing the...

Re: Rival Watch

That won't be happening though. The obsession with knocking Leeds here is pathetic and is just jealousy. They are a Premier League side now, they are better than us. Deal with it. Knocking Leeds is funny, not pathetic and definitely not jealousy. They aren't a Premier League side but it would take ...

Re: How do we become good again?

He’s scored 6 this season with a very slightly better minutes per goal record than both Puscas and Meite so without the injuries I think he would be pushing 15 this season, which would be a fine return. Yes but the injuries....he has yet to get more than 12 in a season throughout his career. He’s n...

Re: Rival Watch

Leeds always ran out of steam under Bielsa's style, how that might translate in the Premier League where there are less games will be interesting to see.

Re: Rival Watch

Well, Leeds are on the cusp of promotion now, it's a shame but it looks like the Championship's longest running joke is finally coming to a close.

Re: Dellor moaning about Vydra again!!!

Dellor has just completed his weekly 20 minute moan about Vydra and is expecting the social media backlash so I thought I would get it kicked off over here on HNA. Dellor SHUT UP. You're talking rubbish! In all honesty, it's getting harder to argue in Vydra's favour against Dellor every week. Espec...

Re: How do we become good again?

I firmly believe that relgatoon to ligue 1 would actually give us the boost we need because at the moment we've found out our level. It we go down like Sunderland or et Al, it might be that we have a fire sale, and gain players on loan and from free transfers and then bounce our way back up again t...

Re: How do we become good again?

The Championship is a highly competitive league, in recent years we've under-achieved. Right now for a club of our size and stature we're probably in roughly the right spot. The only thing that will push us on is consistency that to be fair we couldn't afford as we have had consecutive managers now ...

Re: Rival Watch

Hound Birmingham are dire. Pretty fortunate there isn’t another couple of additional games left or they’d be very worried

Well Hull and Luton are playing each other on Saturday so either they both get 1pt or one gets 3pts. Nervous times for Birmingham and Huddersfield.

Re: Rival Watch

Why are Leeds "bricking it" when they are at home to Barnsley tomorrow and a win all but sees them promoted? Leeds are by far the best side in the Championship, they are up and will be Champions. I know you've got a hard on for Leeds but I did say West Brom would be more concerned....

Brentford already 1-0 up, Leeds and West Brom must be bricking it right now, West Brom more so since they're only a point ahead if Brentford win tonight. Why are Leeds "bricking it" when they are at home to Barnsley tomorrow and a win all but sees them promoted? Leeds are by far the best ...

Re: BFI Follow Middlesborough

Be little point in restarting the leagues until fans are allowed back in. Just not the same. Feels more like a series of preseason friendlies. We`ve been shit at home for years, what makes you think fans would make any difference? Just looked the stats up. If we lose to Swans that'll be 12 home def...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Middlesbrough (h) sponsored by Chris Rea

I'll be getting a season ticket again but it does become hard when you rarely see a win. I'm far more open to giving Bowen a shot because he's got us to mid-table, a damn massive improvement over all but 2 of our seasons since we were last relegated from the Premier League and one of those included ...
