Re: Meaningless Stats and Trivia from 2018/19

Thought I'd update this for the season just gone. Based on the PA text commentaries over the season, Andy Yiadom committed the most fouls in our League and Cup games with 60. Meite was second on 45, and Swift 3rd on 40. Strangely, (if PA is to be believed), Yiadom was also our most fouled player wit...

Re: Next Season's Squad.

Mmm. As I see it, assuming those out on loan don't come back, we have a 1st team squad of 15 currently with back up from the U23. Baldock Barrow Blackett Bodvarsson Gunter Kelly McCleary Meite L Moore Obita Richards Rinomhota Swift Walker Yiadom Given there's talk of Kelly, Meite, Barrow, Moore, Swi...

Re: BFT(final)G

I believe Ejaria and Baker had relatively hard times at other clubs they've been loaned to. They have little chance of regular 1st team action at Liverpool and Chelsea, so maybe their parent clubs would be happy for a full season loan with us next season as they look as though could be regulars for ...

Re: Next Season's Squad.

Well after today's game the following Academy players have made 1st XI apps this season :

Richards
Kelly
Rinomhota
Loader
Holmes
McIntyre
Osho
East
Olise
Barrett

with Obita of course a long term injury victim.

With question marks over Kelly, that still seems to be nearly a 1st XI?

Re: MATCHWATCH : Middlesbrough (a) sponsored by Jordan Holsgrove's dad

By my reckoning the Middlesbrough starting XI cost is £53.25 million, with their bench costing £13 million! c/w our starting XI of £4.5 millionm and our bench .... zilch!

Oh, and we've just taken the lead!!!!

Re: If Bolton don't complete their fixtures

The bigger question is what happens should Bolton fold - presumably unlikely as there appears to be a buyer in the wings. Presumably if Bolton did fold only 2 clubs would go down from our division this season, with 3 coming up as usual. Then only three down from the 3rd tier and four coming up, wit...

tidus_mi2 Is there any particular reason we're kicking off early despite not being on TV?

See halfway down previous page. Responder thought it was simply an agreement by both clubs to allow slightly more recovery time for Monday's match.
