Re: Leicester Vs Reading

And if Leicester finish above Reading this season? Were Plymouth a better team than Reading in 2005?

Re: The Summer 2011 transfer thread

^ agreed. It's similar to Ferguson whose only really bad "sell" was Yip Yap Stam (maybe Van Nistelrooy too at a push). Drugs ban followed about 6 months after the sale so ... Ferguson himself considers selling Stam as his biggest mistake. http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Selling-Jaap-...

Re: Sonko

There is no difference between McDermott talking about the contract offer in the EP and Sonko talking about it on Twitter. It's the same thing just through two different types of media.

Re: Depressing

Why in the blue hell would a potential owner buy a club that has a hotel and conference centre attached to its stadium and not want the Hotel/CC? If the current owner doesn't want to include the hotel as part of the deal wouldn't a potential owner see it as a asset they'd would want? If I'm a potent...

Re: Long goodbye...

A good deal for the club and Simon Cox can come to us for £2 million or so. Incidentally a big whoosh to all of those posters that said he would go to a big club-this is a yo-yo club like Wolves,West Ham,Birmingham etc and will probably be in the dog fight to avoid relegation especially as they hav...

No wonder the police called the game off. Reading and Aldershot fans in London on the same night. They wouldn't want a handbags at dawn riot as well.

Re: Pearce & Bongani

Watch it as many times as you like. Maybe Harte can shoulder some blame but Pearce is still a CB charged with marking the CF. Can't see Pearce blaming anyone else or looking accusingley at Harte. So you accept then that Harte's actions had an impact in the goal, and as such the comment that it was ...
