Re: EFL Cup round 4

Well we'll see soon enough.

Just looked up the Arsenal fixtures, our game against them will be their 4th home game in just 10 days

Re: EFL Cup round 4

Could be televised tbf. I'd imagine Man Utd v City on Weds; Arsenal v Reading Tuesday 25th. They tend to pick one all Prem clash and a Prem v lower ranked side. If we are on the box, 4K tops.

Edit: just seen half term mentioned; could well be closer to 6k then.

Re: EFL Cup round 4

Lets get a big team to test this squad further early in the season. Never been to 'The Bridge' or 'The Lane' to watch a live match so Chelsea or Spurs away would be my personal pick. Alternative would be Man Utd at our place. Hope we don't get Leeds, with our suspensions kicking in we don't need ten...

Re: Team/Predictions/Crowd - Brighton (A)

royalp-we Roy'll Giant Killing at the Amex. I'm going with another 1-2 win tonight.

I see Stam choosing to start Samuel, Mendes & Harriott as the front three.

Then Bringing Beerens on as he did against MK. Roy to get two late goals to suckerpunch the seagulls.

So far, this is nailed on to happen

Z175
While I'm all for giving fringe players a go in the earlier rounds when the manager is new, we know the best 11 now.

Glad you do :? I wouldn't say the side picks itself just yet.

But agree some continuity could be what is best for the side to progress. They shouldn't need a rest.

Re: BFTG Barnsley

I didn't go so I can't add too much to the thread, but my Dad went, and he spoke to GMac in the car park after the game and asked him about the incident. GMac said the Barnsley lad was hurling all sorts of obscenities at Williams whilst he was on the floor calling him a c**t amongst others, and GMa...

Re: Town fan in peace

I'm not a terrier but I'll be at my first home game in a while due to living in Canada. Do I understand correctly that you can no longer park at that closed down office off the a33? We'll be driving from the m4 to get to the stadium and should be well ahead of kickoff? What's the best bet for parki...

Re: Valeri Bojinov

What happened to this guy? Close to being a true FM-hero, this one. They rarely work out in the real world, so i'm happy we didn't go for it. Let's get Freddy Adu instead :) Wasn't there a guy called Mokuku or something like that as well ... ? Mokuku Zola? Or my personal favourite: Maxim Tsigalko :...
