Re: MATCHWATCH : Wycombe Wanderers (h)

Christ alive the first half, and after the equaliser were like pre-Christmas. No control, no intensity, no idea. Can’t really be bothered to comment on the short lived good bit. Ref was dreadful as always. Allowed their keeper to timewaste every time he had the ball starting in the 6th minute at 0-0...

Re: Wanted - ROVERS (a)

Yes you're right - not on sale yet, and the fixture may yet be postponed due to international commitments. Are you asking others to purchase tickets on your behalf, or is this just a first in the queue placeholder for any spares? A little from column A, a little from Column B.. Just getting my prov...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Shrewsbury Town (h)

The problem with Kelvin on the left is the lack of support he provided to Mola, who got the absolute run around for the first 20 mins or so (but did improve)

Would like to see use swap wingers sides more often, actually get some balls into the box without having to cut back every time first.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Shrewsbury Town (h)

1st half was a decent affair. Couple of quality goals by their lads, but they were given so much space around the edge of the box.

2nd half was like watching pre-Christmas Reading - oxf*rd dreadful (with the exception of Elliot who did well)

Wanted - ROVERS (a)

I know they aren't on sale yet, but if anyone can pick up a spare (or 3) for this when they are, I'll happily exchange for both face value and a free parking space about 5 mins walk from The Memorial Ground

Re: #SellBeforeWeDai (to someone fit and proper)“ supporters action group

There wasn't a charge but I remember one copper screaming "Get back you c***, get back" at me. They were just stopping Reading fans going anywhere near the away supporters after the first leg. I don't know the definition of a charge. I'll take your word for it, but there were plenty of po...

Re: Do you agree with todays pitch invasion and match abandonment?

If getting a game abandoned hardly gets mentioned on SSN, how is having a couple of thousand people fewer in the ground going to make an impact. Because that’s what any boycott would effectively be.

Re: Do you agree with todays pitch invasion and match abandonment?

I wonder if this would have still gone ahead if the ref had had the bottle to give the fouls on Knibbs, which also would have probably been a red or the penalty shout on Makiaru Bloody good job their opener was chalked off as well, suspect the Vale lot wouldn’t have been quite so supportive in that ...

Re: Do you agree with todays pitch invasion and match abandonment?

What? There was almost a fight in our section yesterday. Kicking off all over the place. You'd have loved it. Being the hard man that you are. Was that the guy arguing with people in the ‘club’ section in the middle. Never seen the UW get so feisty. Yeah it was! Bloke in a leather jacket. Whe...

Re: Do you agree with todays pitch invasion and match abandonment?

If you're suffering fomo, you can always upgrade your radio. Been in every part of the ground, if I want to attend, I'll go with the good, honest, positive and engaged folk of C1871, rather than the stuck up, passive, unengaged dull lot in UW What? There was almost a fight in our section yesterday....

Re: Do you agree with todays pitch invasion and match abandonment?

It had to happen. I don't think it should keep happening but I think a stand had to be made. I feel sorry for the Port Vale fans, they have been extremely supportive of out plight. It would be a good idea for a representative of our supporters group to get in touch with Port Vale's supporters to se...

Was that actually Schards?

Well oxf*rd him if so.

I travelled from another 200 miles further down the m4 (Bristol) so my opinion must hold more weight. That’s how it works, right?

Re: Do you agree with todays pitch invasion and match abandonment?

Having seen it, I am supportive of the on-pitch protest but not pushing it to abandonment. All footage shared is of the out pouring of love and pride toward our club and anger at what is happening. That would still have been shared regardless of the abandonment. So whilst I will defend the right of...
