Re: MATCHWATCH : Exeter City (a)

skipper Can anyone explain the points in this competition?

Looks like Swindon drew with Arsenal U21. But Arsenal has 2 points and Swindon have 1.

Is it giving points to the away team?

Draws go to a shoot-out with a winning draw point at stake.

Re: “ Sell before we Dai “ supporters action group v2.2

Sell Before We Dai’s most recent statement/letter https://pbs.twimg.com/media/F6I2pQhXoAAJxVb?format=jpg&name=medium They haven't got everything right, but that's a brilliant letter. I agree - slightly tarnished by the unnecessary swearing to close out the letter. Thought this supporter group c...

Re: “ Sell before we Dai “ supporters action group v2.2

its not the fans fault that the chairman is in financial shit despite his assertions otherwise. It's not other clubs in the league's fault that Reading signed 17 players during the Summer that they may have been interested in - including some nice hot young prospects - but didnt do so because Readi...

Right decision, but will always have a place in my Royals heart for that amazing disallowed brace!

Re: Why are we so poor on the road?

I think this is a bit of a misleading thread. This current team has played two games on the road - in the first game we thrashed a championship team 4-0 and in the second we played well but lost late in a game that could have gone either way. Hardly a negative trend there. Fully expect us to turn ov...

Pepe the Horseman I have no recollection of Tranmere getting to the League Cup final.

Was there in my previous life as a Leicester fan. Gave them up for Royals 20 years ago…..

Re: MATCHWATCH : Peterborough United (h)

Selles - lost 11 out of 17 games with Southampton. Then lost every preseason game for us. All (bar one) by 2 goals. And now lost his only league game, at home against a vastly weaker opposition. Is Bullivant free? What’s your personal issue with Selles? Massively out of perspective here. He’s been ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Peterborough United (h)

Nobody expected us to hit the ground running. I'd say there are signs of encouragement today. But miss chances and it only takes 1 moment to lose Yeah a few losses on the bounce and confidence will be shot. Not sure this doomongering is necessary! A 46-game season isn’t defined by the first month. ...

To make you all aware of the refeeing changes to the game you can expect to see this season (it's a bit more than just the time keeping) https://www.efl.com/news/2023/july/28/-match-officials-adopt-new-approach-for-2023-24-season/ No wonder fans have got pissed off since the dawn of time. Another. What a bunch of asses.

And another. If I was a potential owner with no affiliation to Reading, this would make me think the fan base are more trouble than it’s worth.

Re: Season Tickets 23/24

Not sure who from the STAR board thought this statement was a good idea but have to say feels a bit misjudged. Of the ST holders I've spoken to no one was in disagreement with prices rising, especially with the reasons outlined reasonably; Reading Football Club this week announced prices for Season...

Re: The dedicated Chris Wilder thread

Apparently the physio who worked under him at Sheffield United has just followed a host of Reading relayed accounts on Twitter. The screenshot is literally just a list of people being followed, doesn't say who's following them. Would say that's the clearest indication yet that this is just a wind u...

Re: Rival Watch

It was just so unconvincing throughout. Never really worked up a proper head of steam. Thought Joao was quite good second half but awful first I do think there was some mentality of draw the game and we’d get a second chance this weekend, which doesn’t look the case now They clearly didn't have tha...

Pandoras Box If Boro had said ‘here’s the three points, we’ll stay at home’ they would have put in more effort than what’s been displayed on the field today.

Didn’t watch it, but 77% possession and 11 corners doesn’t seem like a team rolling over.

Eternal optimist mode on - pressure now on Rotherham with fans expecting win against 10 men.

Set up perfectly for Boro to snatch it on the break.

Bit of a nothing position and watched it on repeat a few times wanting to slag of the referee, but can’t find a way.
