Re: The squad in July

I think it was more a sticking point towards the players that were on the field and their performance. Obviously lacking quality by the sounds of it. It's the first friendly of pre season in 30 degrees after a week or so of training. Performance is irrelevant. Not really, the result is irrelevant, ...

Re: The squad in July

Sounds as if we are in need of several new faces if Saturday's result and reaction is anything to go by. Hopefully we can come to sort sort of resolution regarding the HMRC payments and any discussions with the EFL that may have been going on so we know where we are going to be for the rest of the ...

Re: Season Tickets 23/24

I don’t see the point of opes The Eamon Dolan stand. Would save money on policing match day staff. If by some miracle we have some bigger gates we can open it. People have season tickets there (1,220 according to the figures above) and trying to relocate STHs elsewhere is always very messy and very...

Re: Season Tickets 23/24

If your sums are right 7000 isn't too bad at all - would probably lead us to crowds of between 10-12k depending on the opposition, which whilst depressing compared to what we used to get is decent for L1. If we finally get some positive news re manager/signings/tax issues - then we may even see a s...

Re: Pre-season games 2023/2024

From Despair To Where? I seem to remember us losing to Farnborough pre season in 2005.

Whilst I'm not suggesting all is rosy, it's a basically a fitness session. The result means fcuk all.

And we lost to a wonder goal, so not even any real concerns about quality of defending.

Di Maria did quite well didn’t he? Not saying value at that price, but thought he was supposed to have done alright.

If he's got dreads, it's not Knibs unless he's grown them in two months or they're fake.

I've seen the guy up close so if anyone wants to post up a pic from a stream I reckon I could recognise him.

Off out in a bit so not watching myself.

Snowflake Royal So, Walcott or Knibbs starting then... would guess Knibbs.

Apparently we're playing 4-3-3, with the trialist in the centre of midfield. Could it be that American guy we were linked with?

With McIntyre and Hutch in midfield? Likely to be in an Ince roll then.

Probably Knibbs.

Re: HMRC Winding up petition/order

blythspartan I wish as part of “sell before we Dai” campaign someone could organise a crowd fund to help the football club. I would happily pay £500.00.

Save it until you need it for buying. Dai will just piss it up the wall.

blythspartan Someone on Twitter is claiming that the press have been at the stadium today. Probably bollox but who knows.

I suspect one of the journos would've said something if they had been.

It's not like they have anything else to report.

Re: “ Sell before we Dai “ supporters action group v2.1

Yeah that's what I mean, may have snuck under but may have been in a better position (i.e. not under embargo's that were crippling us) where we could have offered other players deals, like Richards, where we could have sold on. We could have comfortably got £5m for Richards even with a below averag...
