Re: who is going down?

Think Everton are in pretty big trouble, tbh.

You can't be losing that game last night, especially after they were winning. That'll have a massive impact on morale.

Already planning my trip to Goodison next season.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stoke City (h)

Maybe its the number 14 shirt. I seem to remember another player wearing number 14 for us, who blew a bit hot and cold, was sometimes called lazy, was sometimes (mostly) maddeningly frustrating, but on his day was an absolute world beater... https://d3nfwcxd527z59.cloudfront.net/content/uploads/2019...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (h)

I'd go with Ince for Ovie and Baba for TMc (even though I thought he had a reasonable game last night). There's no way I'd risk unsettling a defence that is finally semi-plugged. Rahman can come in when one of the back 4 has a bad game. Ince for Ejaria seems absolutely obvious. So I'm guessing it w...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stoke City (h)

I reckon last night was our lowest gate of the season. I’m guessing circa 10,000. A very poor turnout from our support and Stoke’s too. Yep I was surprised how few Stoke there were, normally have a large following when they come here. Would imagine the rearranged date and the fact it is on a Tuesda...

paultheroyal Brilliant last night from Club 1871 - which generated an atmosphere around the whole stadium.

First 20 minutes was a brilliant atmosphere. The Femi Azzez song is class as well.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stoke City (h)

He was great yesterday. As was Drinkwater. And Yiadom. They were the three stand outs. Hoilett is a clever player. Yiadom's crossing wasn't great but his lung busting run in injury time to basically take on half the Stoke team and use up about a minute was worth going to the game by itself. (well h...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

A Stoke fan having a major meltdown on twitter https://twitter.com/samfosy11 @BBCBerkshire your first goal was handball. Then Ejaria should have been sent off. Reading deserve nothing. Cheats @SuburbanBadger Reading should've had a man sent off, and their first goal was handball. End of To everyone...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stoke City (h)

Just an observation on the whole goalkeeper debate. We are unbeaten in 4, conceding only 3 in the process. In the preceding 3 games with pretty much the same defence, we conceded 9. I suspect the defence feel more confident with Nyland in goal. Coming up against some very blunt teams and improved p...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stoke City (h)

Would take Ovie off for sure, not been his night and I think he’s risking a red. Shoutout to Drinkwater, been brilliant and his tracking back after Ovie got out muscled was exception. Don’t think he’s given the ball away at all yet, either. Which is a plus. Need to just give the ball to Hoilett eve...

Snowflake Royal If there isn't a HT change for Bashiru or Azeez to come on for Ejaria I'll be astounded.

Both going through a normal HT kickabout so unlikely.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (a)

I punched the air and said "Yes!" From my sofa, which is very unusual. That goal was basically the difference between relegation and survival imo. Sod anyone who thinks that draw isn't worth celebrating a lot Exactly, I accidentally punched a kitchen cupboard as I punched the air. Doesn't...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stoke City (h)

Balls -when did that change? I was relying on paying a tenner to watch this on Royals TV (in addition to my ST which I can;t use tonight). Do I have to become a Stoke fan for the night to watch this? Don't think that will work if in the UK. This is a rearranged game, so are not usually available fo...

Re: Rival Watch

Interestingly* the article by Alan Nixon suggests the deal may be rushed through as it is less than the EFL minimum amount for exiting administration. This would see 15 points docked this season, which would relegate Derby immediately - they would be on 13pts - so could only get to 31. They want to...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stoke City (h)

If he wouldn't mind being on around £10k/week, I'd happily have him back for another season. That's what I mean, but I don't think he would want to stick on that kind of money. If he does, I'll take him for sure. I'd maybe say anything between £10-15k. If he's wanting Swift-level wages, I'd turn aw...
