Re: Portsmouth Admin

Destitute Pompey set to sign Premier league Greg Halford on loan from Wolves according to today's paper. and in other Pompey news, Big Dave has been shouting his mouth off again... "this place seems extra special. It's an old stadium, in the town, community-orientated. Not a soulless bowl of pl...

Re: First 10 games. Happy/unhappy?

Not unhappy personally. I think the team has reasonable balance to it and we have some decent players out at the moment to come back in. I would be happy if we stay in the top half of the table from now on in with a decent sniff of the play off places. We've played some decent football at times and ...

I'd say fairly decent and think there were more than the 300 mentioned earlier, I thought it might be nearer 500.

Re: Back from the game -Preston

I enjoyed the game and thought we looked the better side with some decent passing and possession in the second half. I felt we could have kicked on and got all three points so felt a little disappointed to only come away with a point. I thought Armstrong looked fairly decent given the length of time...

Big Foot
Gloria Gooner I enjoyed watching Ginola and Dixon, makes a change to have some interesting non-meathead conversation on there.

More football, less rubbish would be a good start

Re: Saturday Football 25/9

I was surprised when I read it but there isn't that much in it spending wise between the two teams.

chelsea's starting team cost £137.6m and City's £153.25m.

i think the club is in a position to turn down offers now tbh - well for this season, i think it will all depend on whether jimmy wants to go, if we are still in or around the playoffs come jan i expect him to stay till the summer I think that is the key, if Jimmy wants to go what choice realistica...

What does Avram Grant's religion think of paying for sex?

It's fine if it is not on a holy day and takes place in an industrial unit in Portsmouth (and he doesn't tell his wife).

roadrunner He's a good player with a lot of promise, playing very well in a team he's clearly settled in and suited to the way they play. Why would he want to take a sideways step and come here?

Re: Reading's record.......

Might sound cheesy but not worried about the record, 106 is just a number, the memories of the season will be what keeps giving me a warm feeling over the years to come (either that or a bladder problem). Palace didn't enjoy their cup final at the weekend and surely we can't play as badly at Loftus ...

In that Bristol City, an unfashionable club have signed the current England first choice keeper, a keeper who is potentially likely to be worth 10 points to them next season. Rumour on the Bristol City boards is Wigan have come in for him. Sounds possible and if so would explain the Premier interest and why he dropped City like a steaming turd the moment a better offer came up.

Re: Coppell cant help himself....

Rosenior has now done a u-turn and apparently walked out on Bristol City just ahead of the friendly at Aldershot he was due to appear in this afternoon. Not gone down well in Bristol because he left first time around under a cloud. Sounds like another club have come in for him with a firm contract o...
