Re: Premier League 2016/17 - General Discussion

Sterling wasn't looking at the ball, you're correct. But that doesn't mean it's a foul. He barely touched Shawcross. But that's exactly the change in interpretation of the rule that has happened this season and the players all know about. If you're making no attempt to play the ball (and Sterling c...

Re: The generic transfer thread

I'm sorry, I didn't quite catch that. It sounded like you said Johnny Evans to Arsenal for £16m but it couldn't have been that.... Ludicrous money, but... How much have Man City paid for their piss-poor centre halves recently? At least £16 million buys competence. There's two Johnny Evans right? Wh...

Well Fat Sam you appear to be ticking 2 of the 3 C boxes, lets hope you're not clueless as well.

Re: Next England Manager

Both are decent managers if you like that kind of football I guess. I'm guilty of hating the cult of 'Big Sam' but he's probably underestimated as a manager given what he's had to work with. That said he didn't he did come third in a one team race when Brian showed him to get promoted. More relegati...

Re: Euro 2016 Thread

Penalty shoot out sums him up nicely. Whole team lined up arm in arm apart from Ronaldo doing his own thing. Don't worry Ronnie the cameraman noticed your little pantomime.

Re: Euro 2016 Thread

Other than 1966 (and to a lesser extent Euro 96) we've always underperformed at international tournaments. Even during the times our teams were dominant in Europe in the late 70s/early 80s our international team did nothing. Bit unfair to just blame it on the last 20 years of Sky the issues were aro...

Re: Euro 2016 Thread

What I find most shocking about all of this, is that we have allegedly the best league in the world, and this was our so called "golden generation". The golden generation? Wasn't that the Lampard/Gerrard/Ferdinand/Terry/Rooney/Cole (A) etc era, you know that set of players that fialed bad...

Re: The generic transfer thread

TBM Tbh i don't think Arsenal need that kind of player, they need more of a 6-yard-box type striker, rather than someone with pace (Theo Walcott can do that)

Maybe they want someone with pace and goals and not being constantly injured. That's not Walcott.
