Re: Swift to Leeds

In theory yes but in reality it's not that far removed from what the likes of Man City and PSG are being investigated for, investing money through suspicious sponsorship deals.

I wouldn't be surprised if that's the ulterior motive behind City setting up franchises all around the world.

Re: Swift to Leeds

We've only loaned Aluko so his wages are only off the books until December. He's contracted to 2021. Whilst it helps us out with getting his wages out for FFP for this season, there's still the transfer element and he's still got another 18 months to run after that. And with Edwards, with a mutual a...

Not as if Pogba and/or his agent hasn't got previous for being a disruptive influence at United.

Re: Berks and Bucks Senior Cup 2018/19

The rules clearly need cleaning up. Evidently no one has a real issue with EFL teams fielding academy sides despite them having pro contracts. It is ridiculous to bar the 3 biggest clubs in the Association from entering. Maybe they need to refine it so that anyone who gets playing time in the EFL th...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

As Dean Ashton said on the highlights last night, they celebrated like they'd won the title when they took the lead, thought they had the game won and switched off.

The more balanced are pointing out that they've taken 25 points in the last 9 games and have gone from 5pts back in 2nd to 6pts clear at the top.

Re: BFTG - The miracle of Carrow Road.

The silence from the commentators (the tw@t was Tony Gale wasn't it?) was also a thing of beauty He was a prick the whole game, going on about our time wasting and sitting back behind the ball as if we were meant to go there and make it nice and open for top of the league Norwich. And yet, ex Norwi...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

Those Norwich folk are a bit odd. A lot are Farkeing it up and seem to think that last night was a colossal travesty of justice and that we had no right to turn up and not lay down for them.

On the other hand a few are suggesting that we turned up with a plan, executed it well and shit happens.

If true, I think £7m would significantly soften the blow of him leaving.

QPR have the easier run in on paper but are in freefall. Anything but a QPR win would be good as it would keep both of them in the mix.

At the same time, we're talking about a player who has been "prolific" over a period of two months but averages a goal every 6 games in 200 career appearances, including 9 in 57 in the Championship. Even this season, 6 in 7 for Rovers is countered by 5 in 27 for Coventry. He could be a dia...

Every player has a price but there are a core of First team regulars I would like to see us hold on to. Yiadom Obita Moore Blackett Swift Rinomhota Novakovich Meite Barrow along with our Academy graduates. I would love us to renegotiate deals for Martinez, Miazga, Baker, Ejaria, Olivieria and Ezatol...

Kane signed a 6 year £200,000/wk contract at the start of the season. I could see that alone costing Spurs a few million in agent fees.

Spurs spent £11m in agent fees despite not signing anyone.

Is there any breakdown between transfers and contract renewals?
