Re: Jazz Cafe beer

The Jazz Cafe excelled themselves last night. Ordered a pint of Amstel. I sat down, quite surprised at how fizzy it looked. I took a sip, and it had a horrible sweet taste to it. I had a second sip, and realised it was cider. I took it back, and the girl behind the bar insisted that she'd poured fr...

throw the famous Pirlo Panenka loss into that against Italy.

I remember watching us lose a league cup tie away to Stoke on pens, Leroy Lita cleared the crossbar by 1km.

Re: Sunderland Crap

The irony of people from Sunderland commenting and criticising other areas of the uk. As someone who has been up at uni in the North East for the past 4 years and have gone to watch Sunderland on a couple of occasions, I would just like to say how much I am looking forward to revisiting one of the ...

Re: The Shame Your Block Thread

Away end at West Brom - some miserable gits got some fans thrown out for trying to have a good time, ya know, sing and support the team. Sunderland away - there was a bloke I know who works up there, Reading fans accused him of being a Sunderland fan, got him and his m8 kicked out. Charlton away - ...

Re: Do you have another team?

Born and bred in Stockport, and so used to go to Stockport County quite a bit and now still follow their results, they're having a mare, same league as FC United and Salford City. I do remember watching Alfie there at the start of his career, he was a local lad and so a hero, never been more pleased...

Re: The Shame Your Block Thread

I now deeply regret nerves taking the better of me and not singing for Liam Moore and Jordan Obita as they stepped up to take their penalties lolwut At least we now know who to blame. RB you are now banned from any further RFC games. If I see you there, I will ring up your school and tell them you'...

Re: The Shame Your Block Thread

So you are the reason we lost! The great bearded one himself had pointed out how our form had picked up since we stopped singing his song and expressed the hope that we wouldn't sing it again for fear of missing out on promotion. Good God what have I done! Still won't stop singing it thou...

Re: The Shame Your Block Thread

wow this thread got nasty quickly. Me and Stockport Royal Snr were up in the Gods in 505, ironically we were able to stand up for the full game, as we only had one row behind us, I simply asked the lads sat there if they were happy to stand, or swap rows but they got involved as well. I thought we ...

Will hold my finger over the flight booking ticket until they confirm a fixture against Ajax, even if we're only playing a development team.
