According to the recent publication of players names in light of the various transfers, Gylfi's middle name is Thor. Remember that when he smashes one in to the top corner from range.

Good news for all concerned I think. Drenthe gets some new friends to play FIFA with, and we get him out of the club for a bit.

Re: COCUP round 3

WRT who I would want to face, a home tie or an away game in the London area please (I'm going to be working night shifts in west London that week) so I've got a chance of going to the game.

Was it just me that sung that (in my head) to "I've got a brand new combine harvester" rather than the (presumably intended) "Nigel Adkins Barmy Army" tune?

Re: Back from the game - Scunthorpe (A) - COC Rnd 2

With lots of changes through the side, it was always going to take us a while to settle into the game. Had Scunny taken one of their early (half) chances I think they would have run out comfortable winners, but credit to the youngsters, they stuck at it and eventually managed to break through. The f...

Re: Do we need a new defensive coach?

All four goals came from crosses at the weekend. Literally just trying to stop the ball into the box, or putting some kind of pressure onto the crosser would be a welcome change. Whether that's the midfield tracking back, or the fullbacks getting out quicker is mostly irrelevant - although I would ...

Re: The Frank Lampard tribute thread.

I realise that the main reason for joining City was to keep himself fit (and possibly be near Manchester for Christine's BBC work?) ahead of his move to the St8s, but how much playing time is he likely to get in the few months he'll be there? Surely if Pellegrini saw him as going to be an impact pla...

Re: Team For Scunny

Looking forward to seeing more of Kuhl in action, I think him and Norwood in the middle could be quite effective.

After the Huddersfield game, NA mentioned Guthrie "might play some part" in the game tonight so hopefully we'll get some indication as to how his recovery is going.

Today's F365 Mediawatch page did a really good job of all the comments about Malky: http://www.football365.com/mediawatch/9434304/Mediawatch 'The LMA does not condone in any way any potential breach of equal opportunities laws but would also point out that out of over 10,000 text messages and 70,000...
