Avon Royal
Woodcote Royal I thought Long did well enough to get another chance down at Pompey.

By doing what exactly?

A lot more than Leroy has in recent weeks (not all Lita's fault, he really needs to play off a target man and we need someone to hold up the ball) )

I'm delighted that, we didn't start with 4-5-1, delighted that we started Long rather than Lita and pleased that Coppell gave Gunnarsson the chance at right back he should have had the first time Murts was injured. He's never let anyone down there and is more familar with our defensive set up than U...

As long as Hunt wants to start and everyone is happy that he will not be too affected by the events of last week...................no one deserves to keep their place more. Whilst I'm a big fan of Convey, he has not been at his best this season and with Hunt's cameos improving all the time, I think ...

On another day we might gave got a draw against Chelsea but no game ----------------------------------------------- is completely even and, even with 3pts in the bag, I guess 2 'keepers in the Royal Berks thanks to freak accidents evened things up somewhat in their eyes :? But, the most likely resu...

What evidence is there that Reading could fill 32,000 seats each week? This season is our first ever in the top flight, it's a huge novelty AND we are doing well. Yet tickets for every game have gone on to general sale and there is no huge queue for season tickets. Even if we stay up I would expect...

Maybe I'm wrong on that, but if we wait until we are sure we are established as a Premier League club will will *never* expand - but until we expand we will never be able to compete financailly with most other Premier League clubs. Chicken and egg! Spot on. This is where we are and my hunch is that...

So, in summary... Doyle hasn't proven himself at this level despite most pundits lauding praise on him. Who the hell has said that?? No one Lita and Kitson work best even though Lita has one solitary tap-in and one decent performance to his name this season and Doyle is our top scorer. No one's sai...

Bikey looks like he's going to be a class act to me and, whilst there's no excuse for what happened in Sweden, surely he deserves the benefit of the doubt having walked for 2 soft yellows, in a match where the officials were highly inconsistant to say the least. W@nker Riley looked like a man desper...

Not everyone that follows Reading lives in Reading This seems to be the point that many disregard when talkng about the novelty wearing off if we become a mid-table Prem side and "doing a Charlton" Reading in the Premiership is no longer "little Reading". It's fan base is largel...

I'm not saying all these seats will neccessarily go to Reading fans, but I'm sure our massive catchment area will attract sufficient football fans in general, who want to watch top flight football, to fill those seats every week.....................and, I think some of these people will become suppo...

Re: Bigger Ground = Less ST's ?????

I was just wondering what others thought - In the short term, the increased capacity may have a negative impact on the number of people willing to splash out on a season ticket; A lot of people will have bought ST's this season for fear of missing out on the big games. With the increased capacity, ...

Anyone who wasn't delighted with a point from Man U clearly inhabits the same silly world as you.

I haven't said we wont take all 3pts, but if we do, it will be best result this club has ever had.....................Lawrenson gets things wrong but he's yet to write as much sh*te as you.

Alan Partridge Not surprising and anyone who has to predict this would go for a Chelsea win

Agreed

He might have been wrong about us earlier in the season but he's right to say that Chelsea will go to most places this season and win, even when they don't play well.

A point would be our best result so far.

Re: Is Marcus Overrated

There are too many variables for statistics to give any meaningful insight into an individuals ability. I agree. You'd never see RFC spending £1,000s on statistical analysis tools like ProZone. Oh, wait... And whenever I've heard Steve Coppell talk about Marcus he never fails to mention jus...

No improvement needed when it comes to result - I'd take a hard fought 1:0 against Chelsea any time. Stating the obvious. If we play like that against Chelsea we will come away with a hard-fought 6-0 thumping. Excellent result today, but undeserved, and lots to work on at the training ground, namel...

Chip_Shop_Matt £5m, 2 cases of guiness and a sack of spuds.

Agreed but I'd expect nothing less than King Edwards.
