Yep the legacy of Boyd Butler lives on, I think this decision of his was the last straw and Mr M got shot soon after, the fans were not very happy at all with his crap idea. It will be interesting to see if the Everton and West Ham tickets get linked as well so getting less attractive matches to be...

Re: A few observations from yesterday

So, your blind spot covers reading big or small "R" Another sensational comeback. Right up there with Floyd "knows fcuk all about football" Streete - an insult on a par with Prince Regent's 'can't write a speech for toffee Mr Crappy Butler weed' in Blackadder III - and of course...

Re: A few observations from yesterday

Hunt is showing every sign of devleloping into a player just as good BC Convey is a regular in a United States national side ranked many places above the ROI side that Hunt isn't even close to breaking into. But don't let facts cloud Woodcote Royal's argument. "developing" it's that "...

Re: A few observations from yesterday

floyd__streete Have another read of the thread so far - people are tending to agree in the main with much of what I say, not bad for Floyd "I know fcuk all about this game" Streete.

Re: A few observations from yesterday

WR - get off of this Convey thing, it's getting tiresome. Convey is a key player who has been struggling and who may have been carrying an injury. He is streets ahead of Hunt. Hunt gives his best and is worth his place as a squad player. He isn't rubbish as one poster said. When will people like yo...

Re: A few observations from yesterday

So, even though Convey has been cr@p all season and Hunt was probably our best player in yesterday's 2nd half, according to Floyd "I know fcuk all about this game" -Streete, the latter "isn't good enough for the Premiership" Forget Sonko, surely no one is more desperate for a tr...

I have a feeling Bikey and Oster may be a better central midfield partenership than Sidwell and Harper  That makes 2 of us and, given that Coppell was prepared to make significant changes yesterday, don't write off the chance of it happening, especially if Sid can't resist a transfer to one ...

Re: A few observations from yesterday

Lining up so defensively as we did yesterday is useless when you concede such a soft goal after less than quarter of an hour. Why didn't we change things earlier? Stephen Hunt really isn't good enough to start Premiership games. Hahnemann can take a large amount of the blame for both goals. The fir...

As it goes I think that the away ST should get the best seats every match, the club should bend over backwards to achieve this and allow the plebs to have the remainder. Spot on We need a spokesman, and even if it's an old bus that's spent most of it's life chuntering down Oxford Rd, as long as you...

Whilst Hunt has had a better month than Convey (who hasn't :? ) I agree that he shouldn't be in the frame for POTM but it's also hard to find anyone else who deserves the accolade. However, it's no suprise to see that those who completely over rate Bobby's contribution also under value Hahnemann's ...

Melksham, If you are so desperate to sing find a karaoke. Nobody is stopping you singing and do you really believe that singing makes any difference to the players out there? I didn't sing today because....last night I was at a leaving-do where there was a Karaoke and one thing just leads to anothe...

The Premiership players with experience who are worth signing are, almost without exception, beyond our budget in both wages and/or fees...................and even that's assuming that they would want to come here. 9th in the table, having lost our last 2 games to Championship contenders and STILL w...

Incidentally, for all those people who said "we need Premiership experience" back in August - De La Cruz has played 80 times for Villa at this level, yet looked far and away the least effective player in a hooped shirt yesterday. Only just read this.........................certainly worth...

Stack is no closer now than he's ever been to taking Hahnemann's place.

If he was that good in the cup games and Marcus was as poor as you think he is, Stack wouldn't still be warming the bench.

Arsenal are class, throughly deserved win and fair play to them. Can hahnemann actuall make some saves for a change? There has been a question mark over him in recent weeks, id like to give stack a chance now. Hopefully if he does well wednesday, might keep his place for pompey. ANOTHER STUPID SUGG...

I'd add Hunt to that "not good enough" list, much as I like his attitude. ps could all "Reading"/Arsenal fans NOT post for a couple of days. That result really hurts those of us who only follow one team. Much appreciated. So, are you saying that anyone who has had good things to...

Sometimes there is no NEED for him to do this though. A simple pass out to Shorey will do, who can pick out a better pass, maybe take on a couple. Also many of his kicks go straight out. I hardly (if ever) see an opposition keeper mis-kick it. And how am I wanting it both ways :? What I'm saying is...

I must say Hahneman just boots the ball downfield a bit to often where as Lehmann was picking out the man in space and hitting a good ball to them. Good call. - Stack does this a lot if other appearances of his are anything to go by. Hahnemann needs to sort this out. Doyle and Lita/Long is really n...
