Re: Reading appoint Mark Bowen on short term contract as technical consultant

His move into coaching began as his playing days drew to a close at Reading, initially working as a coach with the Welsh national team. He went on to coach at Blackburn Rovers, Manchester City, Fulham, QPR, Stoke and most recently Southampton until late last year. Presumably he is big mates with Mar...

Re: BFTG Stoke

Just got back in, terrible conditions and a terrible game. They hit the bar and post in the first half and not a lot more happened than that. G-Mac should've done better with a chance at the end. Substitutions were baffling. The fact that both teams got a point from that game is more than either of ...

Re: New beefeater

I always think that Swansea have got the set up right with some chain pubs/restaurants built on the fringes of the car park that then are profitable during the week and then make a hefty sum on matchdays.

Re: England v Belgium

I am late to this party, but meaning to post for a couple of days. I'm absolutely fecking furious at Southgate for this abomination. It was everything that I thought he wasn't, and also the easiest mistake to make - and the most stupid. We lost, and finished second. Some say that's an easiest route...

Just the way he speaks (I know it's not his real voice.) and the words he uses. You can tell it's Kitson

Re: Back from the game - Norwich

Sigh. Every time this happens it needs explaining. If it's denying a goalscoring opportunity and it occurs inside the penalty area it is a booking, outside and it is a red. Ref made the correct decision today.

Re: Gate figure conspiracy-gate?

But presumably not counting absent STH. For the last x years it's been the policy of almost all clubs to report gates on a tickets sold basis This bollox about counting season ticket sales in crowd attendances is a total myth. The official attendance is simply how many people go through the turnsti...

Re: The Non - League thread

What a mess, and what a shame too. It's all too easy for things like this to happen of course but I always hope that people don't react quite so bitterly but it's an emotional time when the shit hits the fan. I wonder where Stefan Brown is off to. I can't imagine he'll be short of offers. EDIT: Fro...

Re: The Non - League thread

All of the work that Hungerford did to get where they are is all gonna come tumbling down as quickly as it began. Amazingly, the guy who runs the social media has said he's going to keep the twitter account as his own because he started the account.

Re: BFTG Brentford

Every week Stam's post game interview with BBCRB is exactly the same. 'The players aren't doing what we are telling them to do' There comes a point when people need to stop believing this bullshit. He is becoming more predictable than Adkins. What are they doing in training? What is he saying to pla...
